DZmy account was closed after 30 minutes… my account was closed after 30 minutes of signup , and giving my credit card details . I received an email that says : A recently created account with this email address was canceled by our automated systems. This was due to activity or patterns associated with fraudulent behavior. Additional attempts to sign up may also be rejected. What type of fraud ? seriously ? I was excited to use Linode after reading customer reviews But now , I think I'll keep using AWS

LTOverpriced and underperforming Overpriced and underperforming I used Linode as my first hosting provider ever, I thought it was good, it was not. Back then I didn't realize how overpriced and underperforming Linode was. The support wasn't bad, so that's why it's a 2-star instead of a 1-star review. Overall, don't waste your money on Linode unless you want to shove money into something that gives you no value for your buck.

ATHappy Linode user since 2014 I started using Linode in 2014 and am a happy customer to this day. They run about 20 of my servers, hosting my services for a few hundred thousand users. Uptime and support are great. In fact, I decided to write this because I had a very good support experience (fast response with great information) just yesterday. Their object storage is useful, but it could be a little faster. Finally, I think their prices are very competitive. To me, for 9.5 years and counting, they are an excellent provider.

INFalse Advertising, Terrible Support They advertised that they are giving free $100 credit. But, if we signup, they cancel our signup without even allowing us to know why they cancelled our account. Additionally, we are unable to contact them via email or phone. I sent an email, no response. Tried to call, no one pick up the call. Worst experience! Linode = Sh*** Support. Stay away from this fraud company, guys!

GBWhy I am a lifelong Linode customer I found linode through a small project I had done a few years ago. Since setting up my account and VPS services, I have remained a consistent customer. Their support team reached out to ensure everything could be backed up when upgrading for the spectre vulnerability, over 30 days in advance. Their uptime is amazing, and they continue to add features like their DNS and firewall services. The prices are extremely fair for the service provided, and they are an independent company.
