FRFinancial-modeling course The Slidebean financial-modeling course is the single most empowering piece of financial education I've gotten as a start-up founder. It's actionable and you can immediately start playing around with figures and scenarios for your company. Watching the Slidebean videos on financial models before is quite recommended. However, the times were not super clear by the end, making me miss the final live meetup. I was part of the first cohorts, so I guess the will be have plenty of time to make logistics cleaner. Thanks!

GBPractice, perfect, perform Financial modeling is probably one of the most important yet least understood aspects for starting a business, regardless of business type. You have a great product and service! The training workshop needs improvement. While Caya is a mindblowing-ly good presenter, a different structure might help in comprehension/retention and sales. In my experience as a consultant, we used a 3-step structure: "practice, perfect, perform". One of the methods we employed is a practice model - unrelated to the trainees. I would suggest a "lemonaid stand/SAS" as a practice business to model - iLemonade.

NLFinancial Modelling course January 2024 Slidebean helps with a financial model that clearly has been used for years en works in daily life. Host Caya is very knowledgeable, clear and down to earth and has patience with the students. Driver based modelling is especially usefull with internet based sales and growth. For a tech hardware company with longer lead times automation is less applicable but the model is still very usefull since you need to be your own CFO as (tech) founder. The live Q&A session were from 11 pm for Europe. For me that was very late and sometimes difficult to get the most out of it. I recommended to structure your week around it.

GBThis was a very detailed introduction… This was a very detailed introduction and training on a very scalable, flexible financial model. The class was presented in a very easy to follow, structured manner. The important part is the financial model, and you can tell that it works, integrating all aspects of a business to plan for the future and play with what if scenarios. Once I have this model set up, I can see it helping to guide future decisions. The course materials were a mix of recorded videos and live presentations that included students asking specific questions on their own models as they built them out. I was able to follow along very easily on both aspects. I feel this was a great introduction to a very useful model, and at a cost that is easy to handle for a small or starting business.
