When I knew I had to speak to a nonacademic audience, I reached out to Melissa. She helped me sift through the research and data to help me find talking points that still communicated what I wanted to say but in a way that was more engaging and accessible. I didn't realize I was using a lot of filler words, my eyes weren't looking at the camera, and that my framing was too close or my lighting wasn't bright enough. He was able to show me all those things and gave practical tips on how to rectify them. The tips all worked!
