When I knew I had to speak to a nonacademic audience, I reached out to Melissa. She helped me sift through the research and data to help me find talking points that still communicated what I wanted to say but in a way that was more engaging and accessible. Media training with David Puente I found the media training with David very helpful. He came prepared with feedback for our previous media work. He also asked us about areas that we specifically wanted to work on at the beginning of the training and then addressed those throughout. His general overview was good too. The way he did a practice run (pre-interview prep, interview, and feedback) was helpful. In the end, he was able to identify our strengths and weaknesses and gave us useful pointers to work on to improve our skills.

I've done media training for years I've done media training for years, with and without help and I can't imagine doing it without Clarity from here on out! Melissa is an unflappable pro who helped win over skeptical executives immediately. She's supportive enough to avoid discouraging and direct enough to help our trainees see their areas for improvement. Effective and Productive Session Jen is a real pro and I've found our sessions to be extremely helpful in preparing me for media interviews. I've learned to adopt my own communication strategy with the media (i.e. having silver bullet themes and recognizing which questions match to these themes). Also I've gained insight into my speaking style -- what is effective and what I need to adjust so I don't get stumped by a question.
