This is my first time having to deal with something of this nature and it’s very frustrating when one is ignorant to all the rules and regulations. Ohio Unemployment.. Kudos for caring, patience and finding solutions This has been a very trying time for all of us during this Covid 19 crisis. I have had to rely on my faith and stir up every ounce of patience I possess in order to survive with a positive attitude. My finances and spirit has taken a hit. One problem after another but today I needed to resolve an issue with my unemployment claim leaving me no options but to call in instead of the online option. I'm so thankful that I did. I was blessed to speak with a Ms. Maxwell who took her time and patiently helped me to not only understand my case but also found problems that I would have never known was there. She called on the assistance of her Supervisor Monica Hollis who extended the same time, patience and concern. Though my particular case is far from favorable at this point I still walked away feeling some relief, and in knowing that they cared as unknowingly they helped to relieve my anxiety at such a trying time. I spoke with Rusti yesterday and she… I spoke with Rusti yesterday and she was a very sweet person who helped me as best as she could I then spoke with Cliff today and he was also very sweet and explained to me what needed to be done! I have had nothing but great experiences with all the agents I have spoke with since day one thank you for all you have done!

Today I spent 2 hours on the phone… Today I spent 2 hours on the phone with unemployment . I want to say how great full I was that Saundera Bearden was on the phone with me this morning she was so kind, has great personality and listen to what I needed help with and told me how and what I needed to do right so I could hopefully get the money i am owed so I can move forward in my life for my family. She also brought to my attention about a couple more website that could or would help my family. In conclusion i would like to thank Saundera and you guys alot. Thanks again from Kerry&Alonzo

Helpful to a fault! I'm writing to let anyone who needs to know what a great and helpful employee works at the ODJFS. His name is Paul, employee ID #1398. My case became an entangled issue. After trying for weeks to get through to a human being to try to straighten it all out, I waited for 1 1/2 hours, determined to get to an operator. Paul answered the phone and I could not believe the enthusiasm to solve my situation. We were on the phone together for another 1 1/2 hours! He could not have been more diligent if he tried! Just an outstanding effort to cut through my issues and finally get the ball rolling on my claim. Thank you Paul!! You are a credit to your peers!!!!
