It's definitely possible to use other tools when you're just starting out, but Moz still offers a great value with their subscription options. Their customer service is also too notch, they'll really take care of each one of their customers. They issued me a refund for an accidental subscription, which surprised me since their Terms of Use states that they don't! Even without a subscription, Moz still offers lots of materials to learn for free, which people who are new to SEO should use.

The content was organized, well presented and digestible for those with a limited understanding. I felt that the assigned tasks could have been more fully developed.
