Led by a team of real-life colorists at our Los Angeles Headquarters, our award-winning custom hair color takes into account your unique needs to create your color, your way. Similar to the salon experience, each bottle of hair color starts with a consultation. By taking our quiz, our licensed colorists get to know you and your color goals before crafting a completely customized hair dye, made-to-order just for you. From the name on the bottle to the personalized instructions, we’re revolutionizing at-home hair color and taking things to the next level by giving you access to a personal colorist at every step along your color journey. Whether you want to adjust your shade (our patented customization technology can adjust your hair color down to a ¼ of a shade) or want to learn how to get the best gray hair coverage, our professional colorists are here to help. It’s this attention to detail that has allowed us to win seven Allure Best of Beauty Awards and three Readers' Choice Awards to date. Over our 10 years of experience, we’ve also been able to craft 310,000+ unique, salon-quality hair colors and shipped over 12.2 million orders to clients across North America, the UK, EU, New Zealand, and Australia. I have been using eSalon for years I have been using eSalon for years. I love the fact that you can tell your colorist what you would like to achieve as far as the color of your hair and they do it and it is EXACTLY what you wanted. I love that when I get my box, I have everything I need.

I have a horrible orange color JUST ON… I have a horrible orange color JUST ON THE TOP OF MY HEAD! I am a laughingstock. Thanks ever so much for making me completely give up on hair color all together. I got no real support, and no one tried very hard, obviously. can't go outside without a hat to cover my hair, and it's over 90 degrees here! You don't care how you hurt people!

Give it a try at least once. i liked the color but i am used to 1 bottle so having more just made the process longer. It was more expensive than my original brand and also the most important my gray came back much quicker and mostly around the face.

My color is gorgeous My color is gorgeous and truly pigmented. It looks like I was born with it. Covers grays perfectly (if you leave it in as long as the instructions tell you). Makes my hair look natural, soft and shiny. Love it!

This hair dye is no better than a boxed color. This hair dye is not the color I wanted. They won’t “allow” me to choose my color. It also didn’t cover my gray which is not resistant gray for a fact since I regularly cover it with $5 hair dye and it never shows through. It was a long 2 part process of two bottles of dye with tons of plastic and cardboard packaging which is highly wasteful. They also determine what colors you can order for you so I wasn’t able to order the color I usually make my hair which is like a reddish maroon brown but they literally blacked it out and said I could not choose it and that my hair won’t turn that color. Literally been that color multiple times but ok so I chose a slightly red dark brown because it was all I could get and I wish I’d just been like “ok forget it” because this color is just the absolute worst. I think out of the endless times I have colored my hair this one is the most disappointing. It was a huge pain in the hooha to do with multiple bottles and steps and timers and the result were not even good. I took pictures. My gray roots at my temples show through the color as lighter and it’s not like a red it’s just basically brown. Like if I had paid $5 for this I’d still be like well I’m not doing that again but it was $45 and omg am I not ever doing that again.
