I have had two falls while wearing a… I have had two falls while wearing a Trauma Void helmet, both resulted in hitting my head quite soundly. In both cases I was absolutely fine - no headache, and thankfully, no concussion. I am now a huge proponent of the MIPS technology. And, the new dark blue microfiber helmet with the two subtle sparkly lines is really beautiful. I get compliments on it all the time. Plus, recently, I received half off my new helmet after sending in my old one. Love this helmet and recommend to all my students and friends.

I had this helmet only 5 months when I had this helmet only 5 months when I got to ‘test’ it falling off over a jump. I didn’t feel any impact to my head even though the helmet had scrape marks. Customer service responded quickly when I emailed to ask about how to replace my helmet. My new helmet arrived rapidly. I’m really impressed with not only the helmet’s safety but also the helpful, efficient customer service. I tell every horse person I know about these helmets now.

I bought the smallest size available… I bought the smallest size available for my daughter. It fits her head, but unfortunately the straps are very awkward and come much too far forward on her face. I think the children's sizes need to be reworked to fit their different face/head structures. It's not just a smaller head circumference, but a whole different fit for the harness that is needed. Also, the sparkly bands the microfiber version were not obvious in the pictures or description. My daughter is thrilled, but I would not have purchased the product had I known it had sparkles. We foxhunt and those are not appropriate in the field.

Great fit, nice look, unknown yet whether it prevents another concussion For the safety aspect, I don't know yet if the helmet works to prevent concussion for my 3x concussed child as they have kept their seat and not been tossed into any walls since receiving it. Fits well, is comfortable, and, according to other riders, looks "very professional!" I was ready to go through a few returns to get the right size, but with the very specific sizing, we got it right the first time. Hurray! Long-ish shipping time (but then I'm used to 2-day shipping offered by enormous online retailers).

Very Happy I can tell this helmet has better protection after just on use. It feels much more secure, fitted, and padded appropriately. I hope I do not have to actually test it's brain protecting capability but it feels and looks great. Good price for a helmet with MiPS.
