GBMore than two years now and we still haven't gone live with GoldMine CRM! All our requirements, expectations and concerns were provided to our local GoldMine representative in detail prior to making this purchase. We were assured that there was nothing to worry about. Their proposal included the cost to purchase the software, hours to get us up and running, training, etc. We were led to believe that it was a turnkey package and as a small business we were excited to begin using this new tool. More than two years later and having spent thousands of dollars we never anticipated in additional support, we still have no clear path to going live with GoldMine. Simply put, there was a huge disconnect between what we were told prior to the sale and the reality of get GM up and running. I can't tell you how many times I've heard, "well that was the sales answer to your question" when saying "but we were told this wouldn’t be an issue". My hope in writing this review is not to give GoldMine a black eye because based on what we saw during the sales presentation I believe it will serve its purpose if we can ever get it off the ground. If GoldMine will do the right thing and get us up and running, I'd be happy to write a follow up review of how we like the software itself.

GBW Systems was a fantastic partner W Systems was a fantastic partner to work with. We had previously attempted to implement a different CRM system with another partner, which yielded unsuccessful results. However, in our initial conversations with W Systems, we felt a sense of transparency and willingness to build a CRM system that was specific to our needs. Our vision for a CRM system posed several challenges: 1. We are highly visual people and wanted a system that was graphically appealing and clear; 2. We are an international firm working in a number of markets with diverse sets of requirements; and 3. We wanted our new CRM to seamlessly integrate with existing workflows that heavily relied on Microsoft Outlook. Overall, W Systems was able to navigate these challenges by building a customized CRM system. My one criticism was that due to the large number of customizations that we had requested, W Systems was unable to foresee the challenges of automatic CRM system updates that could impact functionality of custom work. However, this issue was resolved with the past couple of years and W Systems continues to monitor our CRM pre- and post-updates. Overall, we would recommend W Systems to other firms. Their attention to detail and being able to listen to our needs and then to implement them into a tailored CRM has changed the way our team works to be much more efficient.
