My lawyer from avvo was inexperienced… My lawyer from avvo was inexperienced and unethical. Avvo approved my review on her in 2021, then took it down in 2023 claiming I was not detailed enough. I was very detailed about what I experienced. The lady did not know law. Avvo refuses to protect future victims of this woman by not allowing people to see what she has done.

Fake Ratings and Reviews Don't trust their ratings! Low quality website that doesn't allow honest negative reviews about lawyers. Their Better Business Bureau rating is F (the lowest possible rating) and they fail to respond to complaints submitted through Better Business Bureau. If you're trying to find a lawyer and want to see real reviews, look elsewhere. Like many other people said here - Avvo is a scam.

AI not real attorneys? The attorney assigned to my case simply identified himself as "David Lawyer". I had questions about specific code sections that might apply to my situation. The response I got repeatedly was so generic it might have been produced by AI rather than a real attorney. "You have nothing to fear since you have done nothing wrong." "It appears that we have addressed all your concerns and there are no immediate actions required."

AVVO will not print the negative review I wrote up against a law firm in Wyoming AVVO is nothing more than a site who only wants Happy Reviews on lawyers. I had a terrible experience with the Platte River Injury Law Firm. I wasted 9 full months with this company, who was supposed to sue a negligent Wyoming neurologist. They pretended to be very interested in my case. In the end, they did nothing and it cost me alot of money to try to get well. I wrote up a negative review, and 2 times AVVO rejected the review. I guess they are running a lawyer protection website and does not want to hear anything bad about a law firm. Don't waste your time on AVVO if you have anything negative to say about any attorney.

Max Factor law represented in my… Max Factor law represented in my divorce case. At the begaining he was ok. After many months of paying Mr. Factor we went to mediation. After mediation I had $600.00 dollars remaining to pay my expenses from my State Retirement. I had worked 38 years for State of Florida. I am paying child support for a 29 year woman that gets a disability check an had large amount of money to my ex-wife. I had to dismiss Mr. Factor when could not get money transferred via QUDRO from my IRA. I paid Mr. Factor a lot of money an received poor representation going against opposing attorney.
