When Avvo came out is was no darling of lawyers.n fact many sued Avvo contesting bad reviews. Most if not all lost.Some of those same lawyers are complaining at this site. I Unlike Google, Avvo does actively police for fake reviews and will remove those. Avvo was sold last year. Whether the new owners live up to Mr. Britton's vision is yet to be determined.

Avvo has designed a system to deceive the… Avvo runs a scammed system to deceive the public. Any lawyer who receives a negative review can dispute it, and it will be removed by Avvo. The lawyer does not have to tell Avvo any facts about what is being disputed. If a new review is written it will be denied as duplicative even if all the facts are different. So a lawyer can bury negative reviews with a single word "DISPUTE " and Avvo will assist. Then Avvo has the system "fixed" to reject subsequent negative reviews.

I wish I could give them zero starts for attorney marketing service I'm an attorney and was suckered into advertising/marketing with Avvo. To date, I have received exactly zero leads or return on the investment. I have contacted multiple people with Avvo including but not limited to my account rep and have received nothing but silence. You might as well flush your money down the toilet because it will be less frustrating and equally as profitable as advertising or marketing with Avvo / Nolo / Martindale.

Dont expect any help from this company. I have a simple request for representation, an easy winnable case. I tried several attorneys on their website not one has reached back out to me. Just as bad as all other rude pointless webservices.

After mediation I had $600.00 dollars remaining to pay my expenses from my State Retirement. I had worked 38 years for State of Florida. I am paying child support for a 29 year woman that gets a disability check an had large amount of money to my ex-wife. I had to dismiss Mr. Factor when could not get money transferred via QUDRO from my IRA. I paid Mr. Factor a lot of money an received poor representation going against opposing attorney. Future client are u next.
