I hope this review can be beneficial… I hope this review can be beneficial for others who are considering this company for their transportation needs. My strong suggestion is to go with Montway or Sherpa. Should you decide to go with this company, make sure to inquire about the transport provider they will use. If its Highline Auto Transport LLC, avoid this at all cost. Their preference is to communicate via text rather than phone calls. Contacting the driver is an impossible task. Once you establish contact with their dispatch unit, they require you to handle the task of reaching out to the driver and organizing the timetable. They never know where the driver is and expect you find out for yourself. The condition of their trucks is absolutely awful. The lift gate, remotes, storage, are all in poor condition with wiring exposed. Those vehicles are in desperate need of major repairs. Their tone is unacceptable and lacks professionalism due to their arrogance. This brings me back to Ship-a-car-direct. They promise to thoroughly inspect the shippers so you can be worry-free. Based on the factors mentioned above, no reputable company would risk hiring this transport company. To get more proof, check their record on the Better Business Bureau. My intention is not to intentionally damage the reputation of these companies; I simply want to encourage future customers to reconsider their shipping requirements, especially if they own a luxury vehicle. After I went to meet the driver and collect my vehicle myself, they decided to reimburse me a paltry $100. Avoid at all cost. Updated : 4-29-24 I would also like to take a moment and update my review. Alex has since called me, and we had a discussion about my experience. It says a lot about the company, and their attempt to uphold the standards they set forth. While my personal experience wasn’t satisfactory, I do appreciate a company reaching out and attempting to rectify the situation. I do believe a second chance is warranted since they equally went through a bad experience. I appreciated the refund, but more importantly, I appreciated the willingness to listen. I will reconsider future transportion needs.

Couldn't ask for a better experience! Shipping a car across the country can be a little unnerving since you're leaving your car in the hands of strangers and paying for the privilege! But every step of the way Jennifer of Ship A Car Direct was super helpful. The quote was competitive, she kept me informed of the steps leading up to the pick-up, the actual pick-up was on time, the driver was friendly and he delivered the car more quickly than promised. A top-notch experience throughout!

Illinois/Florida Snowbird As a snowbird, I have my car shipped to/from FL/IL annually. In January, the pick up timing was fine (other than an extremely rude driver), but the car was delivered in FL 2 days before I arrived (which I was told would NOT happen). I had to scramble to find somewhere to accept the car. I did receive a small refund for my difficulties. In April, I had very little notice for pickup. The driver arrived with a pick up truck towing 3 trailer bays. What? He did not speak a word of English. And Oops... my car didn't fit so he left. I contacted my salesperson, Scott, and the 800 number which is worthless. Nothing was done. Now I'm in a rush to get the car picked up before I leave in 2 days. I have had 2 concurrent bad experiences with Ship a Car Direct. It seems they do no quality control on the drivers/carriers, do not respect the customer's time frames, and are not helpful when problems do arise - you're kind of left on your own. Like someone else said, use Montway. They may cost a little more, but they're a much higher quality operation.
