Don’t hire safe ship They aren’t a moving company, they’re a middleman who will connect you with a moving company. I moved from Louisiana to New York and I paid for packing and moving services. They connected me with Just Pro Moving, who lost some of my things, didn’t fill out their paperwork correctly (so I couldn’t file an insurance claim) and when they packed my stuff they just threw everything in boxes and broke some things too. Do not waste your money, this company is useless

I had a very favorable experience… I had a very favorable experience working with Alex Popke at SafeShip. He far exceeded my expectations of a broker customer rep. He was patient with my long list of questions, he helped educate me about things like cubic weight and he explained how the entire process would work once a carrier picked up my load. There should be more reps like Alex out there. The shopping of services like this would be a lot better.

Same experience as everyone else Same experience as everyone else - avoid them. Middlemen who low ball quotes that double on the day of you getting packed up. Items all over packed to take up space to charge you more. Subcon work out to the moving companies who also look for ways to increase fees. Quote went from $8k to $17k
