MXWhy do the rates keep climbing? I've rented a storage unit for a year. Rates have gone up 2x in that period. Not good. Not happy.But you have captured me. My storage unit is filled and I spend most of my year far away from Pittsboro, NC, with no immediate plan to empty the unit. I also think you need to update your communication and online payment options. I received a letter in the mail that rates were increasing. An email is preferable because of my travel schedule. I am not there to open mail. Electronic payment options are antiquated. Thank you for listening.

GBWe had two storage units at American… We had two storage units at American Storage and most of our things were ruined by overwhelming rodent droppings, urine, and chewing. And if that wasn't bad enough, there was a hole in one unit, water came in an ruined a mattress and box springs that we had used for only a few months! We had no food nor anything else that would attract rodents. This is absolutely unacceptable! I wouldn't store even my garbage can in this filthy place! They deserve negative stars.

They don’t rent to people that r homeless or if u have no vehicle they won’t rent to you. I believe they look down on homeless people even if a homeless has items to store and enough money to pay.
