Nice service with a few hiccups Both movers were nice and extremely hard working, but a few errors were made. Movers arrived 45 mins after scheduled arrival window and left a large box and the first address. It was clearly indicated that the new address only permits residents to move in between the hours of 10am-4:30pm and the movers did not arrive at the second location until 4:15.

Great Company We utilized this moving company when moving my son in New York City. The representative I dealt with was Mike. Mike was wonderful in making this difficult and complicated move easy. This move consisted of moving my son out of his apartment into storage for several weeks and then moving him into another apartment. We were very pleased with this service. I was left holding the bag on a massively underpriced job Simply Moving massively underestimated the cost of my move, to win the business over a fixed-price provider (Fixed Rate Moving, I think). On the day of the move, it was clear that nearly 30 percent of my stuff wasn't going to get packed under our agreement, or even have room in the truck. I now face several days of additional packing and moving on my own after the job was "finished" with these guys. Their model - like a lot of movers - creates a financial incentive for them to "underestimate" the size of the job, leaving you in the position of paying large overage fees on the day (which, in my case, could have doubled the cost of the job) or leaving you with days of backbreaking labor after you've paid someone to move your stuff. Totally unethical! I will never use Simply Moving again, obviously. Be very careful proceeding with these guys or any service that starts with an estimation where a "mistake" by the people providing the estimate will greatly reward the people proving the service.

Good service The movers were fast and efficient, although they arrived 1 hours later than expected. They complained about an unexpected flight of stairs et some extra and started contesting the estimate although I had been told that it was a flat rate based on cubic meter and not the number of boxes or pieces. I chose the self packing steps, they were careful in packing the bed and furniture. dishonest and non-professional at all dishonest and non-professional at all. Disrespectful crew. They broke many of the items. My mahogany top dinner table- damaged- cracked for their negligence. The chairs were dragged all over until they broke, love- seat and sofa- fabric satined, torn and damaged. When I complained, they simply said "file a claim".
