USI am disappointed that I have to leave… I am disappointed that I have to leave a star. My experience with New way moving services was the worse. Talking about the ole bait, and switch should be their moto. I read through the reviews as I was on the phone with sales. Said I am looking at your reviews and based on them I’m going to pass. Hung up and Debra called me back, and assured me that they were nothing like the other companies. That the BBB is going by some angry customer that did not get their way, she was so convincing that I did not listen to my first mind. After everything started to go wrong, I sent Debra this email ….. (Hi Debra I just wanted to reach out to you, because, we discussed the working of other transport companies regarding how they do business, the way they tell you one price then when they take your money, and give you a contract at a certain price, then the price doubles. We discussed all of that. We discussed the negative reviews that is posted about New Way on the BBB, and the internet. You guaranteed me that New Way did not practice this sort of thing, the delayed pick up, the money grab, and all the negative things that was written. I was given the drivers number, he was suppose to pick up the car up on 8/16 at noon, then he text, and said between 2-5, the car would be in Tucson same day. Then I called New Way, because on 8/17 I had no contact with the driver,and was told that the driver had contact me, and I didn’t answer. I’m trying to make that make since when I have paid for a service, and I answer all calls unknown numbers and all. I was told his call was to tell me he had an incident he told me that line on the first night he missed the pick up window he gave. Next day 8/17, I contact New Way and was told that the driver called and said he had an incident that morning not sure how many incidents was involved, when I spoke to dispatch at New Way I was told they pick up as late as 7pm, and I would be fine the car would be picked up today 8/17/23. It is now 8/18/23 the car is still here in Lakewood CA. My granddaughter need her car she is a college student that has school, and work. Public transportation is not an option for her because of scheduling conflicts. Debra I’m emailing you because I believed you, I thought I heard in your voice a person I could trust to get this done, at the rate I was told. I trusted that what you were saying about the negative information about the company was not true. I trusted that your telling me about the company you work for is not a bait and switch company, but a reputable one. I am reaching out to you because when I was hesitant about New Way, and was going to pass, because of all the negative reviews, it was you that made me decide that okay this company can’t be what everyone is saying. Bottom line if this company is what is written in all the reviews. I am hoping that you are not, part of that. I know reading this, what you’re thinking, and it’s not that at all. It’s I trusted you. I’m hoping to hear from you today 8/18/23. I hoping that the price I was told and that what YOU said is true. Please know I’m not trying to attack your character. I’m just voicing how I feel. Norman Job#P102388 I end up cancelling the contract on 8/18/23 on 8/20/23 I received a text from Elizabeth in the billing dept stating my refund has been processed, and it would be 5-7days. On 8/28/23 no refund, and since they no longer answer my call I text and was told that they received a message from the bank that there was a small glitch in the system, and my refund would post 5-7 days. My question which bank since I used to different method of payment, and had not seen a refund to either bank. Well today is 9/12/23, and I have yet to receive my refund had to file a dispute with both banks. Bottom line you would be crazy to use this company. Read the bad reviews they are the ones that accurate. Those positive reviews are more than likely friends and family. I have written truth of all this. So disappointed I had to leave a star at all.

USBEWARE BEWARE. This is the WORST company. They are scammers. They are liars. They made my move the most stressful it could have ever been and have breached every assurance they made. Be aware that the contract you sign with your quoted "estimates" will be a fraction of what you actually pay. I was made to pay nearly double for my vehicle to be shipped, and double for my household belongings. They do not answer the phone or return calls. In fact, they will send you to VM to avoid your calls and not do their basic job duties. My vehicle arrived nearly 2 weeks late. My household belongings arrived several weeks late and everything was damaged or stolen: 2 shattered TVs, my designer bags and other boxes gone, all of my furniture is damaged and broken. Thousands of dollars worth of damage after paying over $5k for a move that this company claimed would be SAFE. The moving company New Way hired was illegitimate. The unloader told me the truck they were using was stolen and not paid for, he told me he hadn't been paid in over a month and was worried, he had no dolly to unload, and was by himself to unload an entire truck (while the moving company scrambled to find another person off CRAIGSLIST to help this poor unpaid worker), and was by himself to unload the truck. Following the delivery of my shattered and broken goods, I have contacted New Way for OVER A MONTH to get help. They have ignored my calls, sent me to VM over and over again, promised they would send me information to file a claim and nothing. I finally got a very rude representative on the phone today who does not know how to allow someone to speak, who ended up claiming I swore at her and she hung up in my face (I didn't swear, apparently the word "should not" suddenly is a swear word). These people are insanely unprofessional. Please stay away so you do not end up out $10k worth of payments and damage for NOTHING, and having to pursue other legal means. This company should be SHUT DOWN.
