The companies that moveBuddha recommends are brokers who screw and scam their customers. moveBuddha makes money by accepting payments from these brokers. Go with a reputable moving company like Mayflower or Allied and you’ll save yourself a ton of money and grief in the long run.

Poor experience It gave me some recommendations but unfortunately, we had a poor experience with the one we went with. American Van Lines ended up using a partner last minute and it their partner damaged our belongings, did not arrive on time, and did not deliver on time. Will not use again.

Total scam Total scam, stay away from MOVEBUDDHA!! Movebuddha rates Big Ben's 4.5/5, but Big Ben's is a con and Movebuddha knows that. How? Because I used Big Bens and it was HORRIBLE - 17 broken items and numerous pilfered and lost boxes. I sent emails and had several discussions with Movebuddha's founder telling them the horrors of dealing with Big Ben's. Search Google and you will see all the complaints - 100s!. Still Movebuddha gives them a high ranking after I told them and pointed out online complaints. Total rip-off and obviously they sell high ratings to moving companies. Shut Movebuddha down, please!!

Movebuddha promotes scammers Movebuddha promotes fraudulent broker companies and I just wasted 1h talking to a guy from safeway moving systems that almost lulled me into believing him. Look anywhere else for reviews of these businesses and you will quickly find that they are terrible. Movebuddha seems to get some form of kickback because they try really hard to justify Safeway moving systems poor reviews on yelp! Why would you do that unless there's something in it for you?

Biased reviews with referrals to terrible companies We relied on moveBuddha in selecting Safeway Moving Systems for our cross country move. moveBuddha recommends Safeway as one of its "best interstate mover[s]" despite an atypical number of complaints lodged with the BBB and DOT for its size. The "high level of customer service and support" moveBuddha cites for Safeway is completely false, evidenced by the numerous complaints describing dodged calls and emails. Do not trust moveBuddha's recommendations; trust the BBB and DOT complaints/reviews. I suspect moveBuddha is receiving some sort of compensation from the companies it refers.
