GBMostly great Great colors, and the hat is a few grams lighter than most which adds to the comfort without being cheap. I like a lower profile cap (more like a golf or tennis style) and these fit the bill perfectly. Minus one star because the buckle/strap adjustment slips fairly easily, loosening the cap so I am adjusting it daily.

GBService and Products Expensive/Marginal Quality After you make a purchase the website tries to "entice" you into buying something else. I thought I was clicking on a product to look at it, but NO, the website just added it to my order.... seems very underhanded to me. I had to make multiple requests for this issue to be resolved properly. Products are expensive. I've found other sites where I can get hats w/o logos for FAR less $$.

GBGamble paid off I had been looking for a plain black cap for a few months. Other places had them, but they were never quite right. Then I saw the ad from Lift Down. Looked exactly like what I wanted: plain, black, wool — like the one Logan wore in “Succession” … But how’s the quality? You never know with these instagram ads what you’re going to get, am I right? And $45 isn’t nothing. So I read the reviews, saw mostly good things and decided to go for it. And now it’s literally the best cap in my collection. Leather strap could be a bit more robust, but it’s essentially a perfect cap. Looking to add a second one, maybe a nice maroon or olive green.

PTRestocking fees for product exchange The hat quality is good and price with fright charges, is above average, no argument on this. I ordered the XL hat and when delivered, I immediately tried the hat on and felt like it was to large. So I contacted “Lift Down” for exchange for a normal size “large” (via email). I was expecting, I would need to cover the fright charges but did not expect a restocking fee! After paying $29 for the hat and shipping charges along with a restocking fee, I decided to keep the XL hat, I ordered and never mind asking for an exchange, due to the cost of the exchange fees. I would end up with a hat closer too the $50 range, when all said and done.
