Expensive but worth it If you can afford to buy the enzymes, do it. I tried Indian food, full of Fodmap (garlic, onions, red peppers, nan bread) and I had no reaction whatsoever. I can't remember the last time I eat that kind of food without suffering afterwards. I follow a strict Fodmap regime at home and only use the enzymes when I go out, or when we order takeaway, which isn't often. Follow the instructions, and keep in mind it doesn't protect from all types of sugars. I give 4 stars because of the price, that's just sad that some of us don't produce naturally these enzymes anymore...

The product is amazing The product is amazing! If I take fodzyme when eating foods containing onion/garlic I get none of my usual symptoms of bloating & pain. It means I can go out to eat at a restaurant & actually enjoy the experience.

Allows greater food choices for IBS sufferers. Great for restaurants, travel, social occasions. Allows me to eat a wide variety of restaurant and take-out food without IBS symptoms. Very helpful for travel. Makes social gatherings easier. The powder format is a bit odd though, and impossible to use discretely without others at the table noticing and wondering what I’m adding to my food. No noticeable taste. Dissolves easily into foods with sauce or liquid. On solid foods, though, the powder is more difficult to integrate, and then it has a tendency to stick to your teeth. The powder is also somewhat clumpy and doesn’t flow out of the packet easily, making it difficult to distribute evenly over food. Nevertheless, it works well to prevent IBS symptoms from foods loaded with onions, garlic, and wheat, which are ubiquitous in restaurants and prepared foods. Expensive, but worth the freedom of dining choices. Difficult to obtain in Canada. Must be ordered from Boston by mail, with additional cross-border duties charged on delivery.

Life Changing Great information. Easy to order although I do wish there was a Canadian supplier which would make it simpler and cheaper from our side of the border. I have been using FodZyme for a few months now. I no longer have to carry anti-diarrheal or anti+gas meds with me. The supplement is life changing. I have to be careful to remember to take it with my first bite; I forget I have an issue with the foods I’m about to eat because I feel so normal and it’s not constantly on my mind. I ordered the jar of powder which I keep at home and the individual packets for travel and dining out. Perfect. I used a packet at a holiday function where roadhouse food was offered - pizza, nachos, wings, calimari - I could eat them all and felt totally normal afterward! As I said, life changing! I am spending 10 weeks in Portugal over the winter and I have been able to eat anything I want, including their incredible pastries!
