Solar-Estimate.org helped me get an actual idea of the costs without an appt… Solar-Estimate.org was a useful website in helping me to get a price range for how much a solar energy system would cost for our property. I've never before learned this much information without having to schedule a time for someone to come out and quote it. I've not wanted to do that yet because this is very early stages for us because we have other financial goals to reach first, but at least now I know that owning a solar energy system is attainable based on the information provided on this website. Mind you, I've not confirmed the accuracy of this info yet but I feel it is reasonable based on what I've researched so far and based on what other people who have actually had solar quotes done have told me. Even though I didn't schedule any appointments for estimates, I like that I received quite detailed information immediately, and at this point, I've only been contacted a couple of times by text and maybe 3 phone calls so far from local solar companies. I was worried about being hounded by sales people but so far it's not been bad.

A sincere and honest attempt to help The app walked through a number of questions and then gave me an answer. It worked through some estimates for solar costs but it was not able to give me an accurate answer. That said, the folks at fixr did follow up and seem sincere in trying to make an honest and useful tool.
