Guesstimate needed for goal to save amount for future I will be needing a new roof in the future and needed to find a guesstimate for the amount I need to set as a goal to save. I did not want to go through all of the calling and emails and on sight estimates as I did not want to waste the company’s time or mine. The Fixr calculator was just what I needed. I fully understand it is not a set in stone estimate as there may be variables without taking an insight look, but I now know what ballpark amount to shoot for. The calculator was very easy to us.

The solar panel estimator was easy to… The solar panel estimator was easy to use and even linked to an overhead view of my house when I submitted my address. The only thing that I didn’t care for was linking my name and contact information with solar companies as I was only doing initial research. After using the site I was contacted by no less than five companies selling their service. That may be perfect for someone already intent on getting solar installation, but for someone like me in the beginning stages of research, it was a little much. Again, the site and estimator were excellent and easy to use.

Ease of use was nice Ease of use was nice. However, was asked for app rating before hearing from anyone or receiving any estimates. Way too soon. How about letting me complete the use before requesting a rating. Don't have enough experience using the service to accurately gage its benefit.

Many guidelines were very helpful in... Many guidelines were very helpful in giving me an idea on the quotes to expect. It also gives me an idea of questions to ask and how much information to place into the specs before quote is given. However, I which the site would give more information on what areas they can provide quotes for. Other than the guides, once I was ready for to hear a quote, I was disappointed that no one in my area was available through them. Guides were so helpful in giving me realistic cost that I only took 1 star away for contractors not being available in area. The Guides also gave me indications where I may have to do somethings myself to save on cost like self demo/removal and smaller installation like fixtures or flooring.
