A sincere and honest attempt to help The app walked through a number of questions and then gave me an answer. It worked through some estimates for solar costs but it was not able to give me an accurate answer. That said, the folks at fixr did follow up and seem sincere in trying to make an honest and useful tool.

I can now get paid for what I'm doing and also show the proof of the cost. I think this shows the national standard for pricing. Many guidelines were very helpful in... Many guidelines were very helpful in giving me an idea on the quotes to expect. It also gives me an idea of questions to ask and how much information to place into the specs before quote is given. However, I which the site would give more information on what areas they can provide quotes for. Other than the guides, once I was ready for to hear a quote, I was disappointed that no one in my area was available through them. Guides were so helpful in giving me realistic cost that I only took 1 star away for contractors not being available in area. The Guides also gave me indications where I may have to do somethings myself to save on cost like self demo/removal and smaller installation like fixtures or flooring.
