Beware of automatic charges on your credit card! The care providers I found on the site were good but beware that care.com automatically sets up autopay and they do not notify you when they are charging your credit card! It's just a way to scam you out of money!

Fraudulent Sign up Constant Emails The website does not require the users email to be verified before they begin to send messages. Someone signed up using my email and solicited jobs. Now my inbox is full of spam from potential "workers". The service never requested the person to verify email.

Be aware of auto-renewal Be aware of auto-renewal for premium members. This company doesn't have a large database of caregivers in my area (Toronto, Canada), their site is not that user friendly (e.g. worker area not available) and workers are questionable - one applied asking if I could do cash as he didn't have a work permit. As for billing, I cancelled on the last day of my service and discovered I had already been charged for the next month. Went in circles trying to find contact info and two emails received by mailboxes not monitored. Tip - use the Chat feature during business hours to reach someone right away.

Jobs requested, Pending account, Can't message families The company needs to seriously fix the issue with pending accounts. The site say is should take 24hrs, which is misleading. The moment I have virtual chat and explain my pending issue, it should be fixed and unlocked so I can communicate with families! everyone keeps saying 72hrs here, 72hrs there. I spoke to about 3 different agents and they all give the same story(72hrs). I've had this account for weeks!

Lauren is very sweet and did a great… Lauren is very sweet and did a great job taking care of our 2 year old daughter. We were staying in Santa Barbara for a few nights for my husbands work event and we were able to connect with her a few days before hand. She was very responsive and well spoken. Our 2 year old can be quite a handful and has pretty bad seperation anxiety, so she did a great job keeping her distracted and entertaining her.
