GBnot great for last minute or not full-time care I specifically needed temporary care for only six weeks but full-time during those six weeks. Nothing on the website allowed me the ability to do that. Even when I needed last minute one daycare, I was given a list of applicants that were available and there wasn’t even any expectation that they were going to respond to me, so I didn’t actually have enough time to book someone last minute like the website advertised.

GBBEWARE, once you sign up, they bill you forever, impossible to cancel. Have not used the service for over 7 years. Just saw they are still billing me an annual fee. Disputed with CC, Care.com came back to prove you canceled. I never even get an email from them; they just obviously try to bill you forever. Check out their Better Business Bureau rating of 1 out of close to 1000 bad reviews. Care.com sucks, really. I used them when my kids were little, one of their providers stole our CC.

GBCARE.COM ARE A BUNCH OF DUMBBELLS DUMBBELLS; I HAVE NEVER HIRED A SITTER!!! CARE.COM DOESN'T MONITOR THEIR SITE OR YOU WOULD KNOW I CANCELED SERVICE. I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS SERVICE TO ANYONE THAT DOESN'T HAVE A SOLID BACKGROUND WITH UNFRIENDLY WEB-SITES!

GBTerrible experience Terrible experience. Initial sign up page states that the subscription is monthly but you can pay for the year up front and that you can cancel the subscription at any time but will not refund you if you do. Extremely misleading business practices.

GBGood for clients, but not user friendly I have got a lot of clients through care.com which is wonderful. But it is not very user friendly. I have had a lot of tech issues some of which have prevented me from responding to potential clients; possibly lost clients due to that. When I go to customer service I can usually get responses through the chat but often times they tell me it needs to go to IT and I will hear from them in two weeks. Both times it took about six months to hear back. Also when I apply half of the applications I put in are of people who are not actively hiring. However there's no way to know that until I submit to the job. I'll send about thirty messages and only about five of them are actively hiring. Lastly , there's a lot of things that were not told directly that caused a lot of issues. For example you cannot send links through care.com and there's a limit to how many messages you can send in a day. Not knowing these 2 things caused a lot of strife and me having to message multiple people through their chat to figure it out.
