The Best Investment I've Ever Made For Myself... Working with Coach Roxie last year was one of the best investments I've ever made in myself. Having been an athlete my entire life, I consider myself somewhat knowledgeable in the fitness world, but where I felt I was lacking the most experience was in the gym on my own. I originally signed up for one three week program with Roxie to test out the concept of semi-private training and I instantly became so hooked, I ended up working with her throughout the entire summer and into the fall. Coach Roxie has an uncanny ability to make training an educational experience with fun, positivity, support, and encouragement wrapped into every session. She pushes you to the max while breaking down the science behind movements, providing comfortable form correction, and really working with you on an individual level despite being in a small group setting to ensure you're getting the most out of your time together in the gym. I came into her program with the goal of being able to do a single chin up by my wedding last September and in my final session with her, I was able to complete three. What a sense of accomplishment that was! Every night before a training session, I went to bed so excited to wake up the next morning knowing we would be working together in our small group. I felt a genuine sense of eagerness to attend her classes just like I would feel if I was going to a concert or a party. Working with Coach Roxie in person is an amazing experience but the benefit of her coaching doesn't stop there at the sessions alone. Months later, I'm still practicing supersets from her programs and applying all of the knowledge and science that she taught to my own workouts at the gym by myself. Never have I felt more confident, well informed, and strong than I did / do after being under her guidance. An investment with Coach Roxie extends far beyond just your sessions together. She will teach you methods, concepts, and techniques that stay with you in your training forever if you're willing to put the time, dedication, and hard work in. When we concluded our time together, I was stronger than I've ever been in my entire life. That jubilant feeling impacts you way past your muscular ability - it leaves you feeling incredible mentally and it transfers to everyday life practices. Working with Coach Roxie was one of the greatest fitness experiences I've had to date, and I look forward to joining her back in the gym again soon.

Roxie Rocks!! SPRINT, DON’T WALK TO WORK WITH THIS AMAZING HUMAN!! I’ve been working with Roxie since December 2021 after initially reaching out for 6 months of wedding prep. Our initial focus was on nutrition and rebuilding my training groundwork after loosely strength training solo with apps for a few years. After working through a few incredible programs, I decided to renew my contract with her and continue training (3 more times!) Roxie has helped me gain so much strength in the last 2 years, along with substantially improving my mobility. This year I was able to train with her throughout my entire pregnancy, right up to the day before I delivered. Her knowledge, attention to detail, and personalization of programs is truly an absolute gift to work with!

The best Roxie is an incredible coach. I started with her over a year ago. At the time I was over-training, under eating, and dealing with many nagging injuries. Today I’m stronger, have improved mobility, am injury free, and understand what I need to do from a nutrition standpoint. I have better balance in my training between cardio and weightlifting. Overall, I now know exactly what I need to do to achieve my goals. I couldn’t recommend her enough.

fasten your seatbelt, it's a long one but worth your time When I first began my journey with Roxie, I was at rock bottom, both physically and emotionally. Desperate for a solution, I reached out to Roxie, and she listened to my struggles with genuine empathy. In that brief encounter, I had never felt more heard and understood by a trainer, which is why I decided to work with her. As a mother and personal trainer, my life was a whirlwind of responsibilities, leaving me grappling with numerous issues related to my nutrition, training, and overall well-being. My body was burdened by a slew of troubling symptoms: severe bloating, recurring cystic acne, sporadic hives and rashes, extreme fatigue, emotional instability, and an overall sense of being far from my usual positive and happy self. Roxie's initial focus was on my nutrition. Given my demanding schedule, including five to six days of training, a full client roster, school runs, and shuttling my daughter to countless after-school activities, she wanted to gain insight into how and what I was fueling my body with, given my demanding lifestyle. After two weeks of tracking, eliminating problematic foods, reducing training intensity to allow for recovery, and monitoring my sleep patterns closely, Roxie identified several key issues. She discovered that I was significantly under-eating, particularly in terms of protein intake for my level of physical activity. Additionally, I was not getting adequate sleep, and certain foods in my diet seemed to be worsening my problems. Despite my best efforts, there was no significant improvement in my symptoms after a few weeks. At this point, Roxie recommended that we gather concrete data on my internal gut health. Following her recommendation, I underwent a series of tests, including blood tests, a GI Map test, and food sensitivity tests. The results were both shocking and relieving. My gut harbored high levels of three different parasites, and I was suffering from Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori), a stomach bacterial infection. My white blood cell count was alarmingly low, and I had an underactive thyroid gland. Additionally, many of my other markers, were below or at the lower end of acceptable reference levels. The data also revealed that my everyday go to foods like bananas, avocados, black tea, and collard greens, among others, were highly reactive and contributing to my symptoms. Receiving these results marked the true beginning of our journey. I was prescribed supplements based on my test results by the doctor, and Roxie worked alongside me to support my healing journey through nutrition, stress management, and recovery techniques. Roxie emphasized that healing the gut can sometimes resemble a marathon rather than a sprint, urging me to trust the process and exercise patience. Now, about 8 months into my recovery journey, I can confidently say that I'm feeling stronger than ever. I've achieved personal records in my training, recover faster, my acne has vanished, bloating is rare, and I'm feeling like my usual self again. Roxie truly stands out as a beacon of light in the world of personal training. Without the safe and supportive environment she created, her wealth of knowledge, and unwavering guidance, I might still be at rock bottom. I cannot express my gratitude enough to Roxie for the incredible journey thus far, and I wholeheartedly recommend her to everyone seeking to transform their health and well-being.

I gave Roxy Jones 5 stars for her… I gave Roxy Jones 5 stars for her service , knowledge , and guidance. I’m new to strength training, as I come from a yoga background. Her style of virtual training was new to me, but I was excited that I would be mentored on nutrition and training. As the months progressed, she did a great job of checking in with me weekly to ensure I was doing the exercises correctly and how I could improve my habits around nutrition. This is not a hold your hand program, as I feel Roxy takes you on as a client only if she sees you have a baseline level of being autonomous. After 3 months of training , I learned how to do a lot of movements that require proper form that otherwise could have me injuring myself. I love that she curated something manageable yet effective. (3 x a week full body strength training ) This prevented burnout and kept me hanging on for 3 months. The results were lifting a 1/4 to twice as much more weight than I could lift last year. With the use of myfitness pal and true coach app, I was able to track progress and use tools to help me simplify the process. I relearned everything I thought I knew about food. Roxy is also a great nutritionist because she can cater to vegans and carnivores and all in between. She understands what she teaches because she lives it. I’m walking away from this program w a life changing takeaways. 1) you can eat like a normal human being without having unrealistic restrictions. 2 ) you can maintain a strong and healthy body without killing yourself in the gym Roxie understands the importance of great relationships and applies the same to moving and eating. I almost feel like I know her IRL. If I ever visit New York and we have the time , I’m definitely asking for a private session
