Open Barre is my favorite workout! I've had the pleasure of being part of Andrea's Open Barre classes for several years, and it's been an incredible fitness journey! Andrea's science-based system, which incorporates a variety of class types targeting different muscle groups, sets these workouts apart. One aspect I truly appreciate is modifications and variations options that Andrea provides during workouts. During my pregnancy and postpartum periods, it was a lifesaver, ensuring I could perform them safely. Her clear explanations of proper exercise techniques and the muscles each routine targets make her classes accessible to everyone, regardless of fitness level. The classes strike a balance between challenging and enjoyable. Andrea provides options for adjusting intensity using props and modifications, and she explains these choices clearly. This flexibility makes the classes suitable for individuals of any fitness level, and progress is inevitable if you stick to the routine. I also took on a 6-week workout challenge with Andrea, as I needed some help into getting back to workout routing safely after I had my baby. Her personalized guidance and schedule were instrumental in improving my body composition and strength significantly. The BEST experience with Open Barre! I’ve had an amazing experience with Open Barre Virtual. Andrea always changes up the choreography and I never feel like I’m taking the same class twice. Her workouts are also safe and effective for injuries. She often cues modifications for neck sensitivity which is so helpful! Andrea is extremely knowledgeable and the choreography in her workouts is well-researched and uses proper form (unlike a lot of other studios I’ve been to). She’s a wonderful and helpful teacher and I’m so glad I found her classes! Not to mention - the workouts also fly by with her fun playlists (I’m always looking up her music after class).

Longtime Client I’ve been taking OB classes (in person and then virtually) since 2018. Andrea is super knowledgeable about physical science and makes each class unique and enjoyable. I’ve been to quite a few barre studios and her classes are by far my favorite! I definitely noticed a change in my body- despite now being in my 30s I feel more in shape than my 20s.

Best virtual workout classes!! I started with Andrea when she had her cute studio in Walnut Creek. She is so kind, caring, and extremely welcoming. Now about the the workout. As a bystander, it looked like it wasn't going to be that hard but man...I WAS WRONG. Her workout caters to ALL LEVELS of fitness and makes you embrace the shake of muscles that you didn't know could shake. I took a really long break from Openbarre, and came back when Andrea went FULLY VIRTUAL. This became such a great option for me as it gave me no excuse since I could do the workouts at home. You can do live classes via Zoom, which is awesome if you want a sense of community OR you could do it whenever you want to and watch a pre-recorded one. Andrea ALWAYS uploads new videos weekly, so don't think you're going to have to watch the same videos over and over again. Also, she sprinkles in challenges throughout the year that really helps you create a habit of working out, if you didn't have one already. Her monthly rates are reasonable, so what are you waiting for!?!?! Join openbarre!

highly recommended for folks anywhere! Andrea's workouts are challenging and minimalist. I've used wine or water bottles for weights, sports bra for loop band, pillow for ball, a wall or tv for balance -- really handy when traveling or if you don't have equipment. Her live virtual classes are great for folks in EST or CST or early risers in PST--I recommend turning on your camera so that you can check your own form while doing the class. Otherwise on-demand offerings are just as great and work for folks who prefer to work out on their own time. Very few repeats unless the class is focusing on specific parts of the body. All the instructors who have recordings incorporate a wonderful sense of gratitude and being present -- a great way to spend 45 minutes in a day
