GBRetro-style mechanical scale won't break My old battery-powered digital scale stopped working after a few months. So I decided to go retro and order an old-fashioned mechanical scale with no batteries. This is a sturdy, well made scale. I would prefer larger easier-to-read numbers on the dial, but it's not a deal breaker. I use the 4 sliding plastic indicators to mark my current weight and my goal weight. This thing will probably outlive me.

GBGreat customer service I was looking for a 300g calibration weight. I worked with customer service who helped direct me to a good affordable choice, and cancel my previous , unnecessary, more expensive item i had already purchased. They were helpful, knowledgeable and patient.

GBGreat order from Scales Plus! I called Scales Plus for some advice on what type of scale to order. The Scales Plus representative was outstanding and suggested the Brickell. It is a perfect addition to our Fire Department gym!

GBScale is OK, but between the two identical scales we have-we get different part counts. Scale is great, but this was a backup to the same Tree scale we already have. When we count our parts-which are around 5,000 pcs. per lb. we get 7 pieces different between the 2 scales. We are going to attempt to calibrate the scales with the certified 200 Gram weight standard we just bought. How do you go about calibrating them when they are manufactured ?
