Delivery weeks late and the laser doesn't work I ordered a 130w laser cutter from Omtech on the 6th of Jan for 7-11 days uk delivery. Following many emails with Omtech customer services I received the unit on the 15th Feb. The best delivery arrangments I received were it will be coming either Thursday or Friday of this week I felt this was very poor for a purchase costing over 4.5k and needing to be unloaded with a forklift. I was hoping that the situation would improve once I had received my laser cutter but unfortunately, this was not the case the first time I operated the laser there was a loud electrical arcing noise and an electrical burning smell. upon inspection, the high-voltage wire between the power supply and the laser tube was not terminated and was arcing onto the metal case of the laser cutter. I am feeling lucky that I didn't receive a shock from this major fault. I have emailed Omtech and hopefully awaiting a suitable remedy. Omtech customer services seem very slow and you normally have to wait for the next day to receive a reply so dealing with them can be slow and laborious.

Shipping was faster than expected Shipping was faster than expected. Had the inline fan show up not working, worked with tech support and after all the trying different things they had a replacement sent. Over all things are good.

Well I've just got started with running… Well I've just got started with running the machine, i have moved up from the Yora Silverback 6050. This machine is way faster and much more percise. I am loving it thus far, have done lots of laser burning and cutting.

Set up a sales call and spoke with… Set up a sales call and spoke with Matthew. Worked out all the prices and sent Tax exempt number in waited a week with no Quote. Called left message for Matthew no response. After multiple emails and a second call Matthew called back say my quote slipped through the cracks. Was told i would have quote in 24 hours. 3 Days later finally got quote and it was completly wrong. Called back again asked for supervisor was told i would get call back that day. 2 days later still waiting for call. I would advise looking for another brand like i am.
