Successful digitisation of VHS tapes with Elgato Video Capture dongle I bought an Elgato Video Capture dongle from PLI Computers in Melbourne Australia and it has worked really well. I was able to copy all my VHS tapes over to my laptop without any issues at all. Loading the software was a bit cumbersome but once it was on the laptop it was literally plug and play. Well worth the money.

I bought the El Gato Video Capture less… I bought the El Gato Video Capture less than a year ago used it about 3 times and it stopped working. I contacted customer support and for 89.00 they have been giving me the run around for over a month. I have complied with their 10-step analysis process to see what is wrong with the software and to this date, there is no resolution. This is the worst case of customer service I have ever had—no offer to replace it with a new product or refund. Just email after email and it seems like Im communicating with a Bot half the time. They just want me to give up to wipe me off the list. The product was a huge waste of money and time. Also when you call the customer service number no one ever picks up.

Support Not Existed Bought elgato HD60 S+ but I receved a faulty one. I tried all the instructions given but no luck. I had the HD60 so I guess there is no much setup difference apart from the software. S+ required 4K Capture. I contacted them but they just ignoring you. So will not buy again. Streamdeck now requires an account to use plugins. No thank you Bought a streamdeck couple of months ago and been enjoying it rather well. Not used freqvently but it has been working. However today I've noticed they now demand that you create an account JUST to add plugins for the Stream Deck software. Elgato didn't require account before. Why does Elgato feel the need to track and datamine everything we do? I will problably start looking around for alternatives.

They hung up on me My elgato HD60S has never worked right, despite my PC being a beefy god. Today it completely shut down, no signal. I've replaced all the cables, followed all the troubleshooting on their website and did some extra on my own. When I finally gave up and called their support (At 11am MST on a Thursday) the robot said no customer support agents were available, and to call back later, then HUNG UP on me lmfao. Unprofessional company who will literally ignore you if you have any problems with their overpriced junk parts.
