I'd give my first hand impression but they were never delivered despite payment in full. Not surprising considering that bike forums across the globe are littered with documented experiences of customers who pay Ted in full, receive nothing, and never receive a refund. Many promises will be made, tracking numbers given, etc. but they are lies. On the odd occasion a refund is given, it is only done after a negative review is posted or legal threats made. The refund is then conditional on the negative review being deleted. It's a multinational scam that Ted has been running for years. Avoid like the plague. If you must have these brakes they can be purchased on AliExpress for a fraction of the price and you will actually receive them. Still, don't expect them to stop your bike.

Never received product I ordered and paid for a swim fin back while I was on deployment. When I returned to the states, I sent several emails reminding him that I had not received my product yet. I had several phone calls with Ted. Each phone call he told me "It'll be ready in 2 weeks." Eventually he just stopped answering my phone calls and emails. Just to make sure, I sent another email recently. I am pretty sure he blocked me.

Horrible experience Hi, I bought Lekki8 from Ted Ciamillo in 2021 and while the product delivered is as stated (light and functional, though does not provide as powerful braking as the heavier mainstream products), I had to wait 3 MONTHS for the product to arrive, following my payment. In the meantime, I was deceived and manipulated by Ted in his procrastinating emails and lost a lot of nerves and time. The delay also messed up my training and racing plans. All in all, I am fortunate not to have been completely robbed by this person. Customer service at Ciamillo is horrible, so take that into account when considering purchasing an otherwise cool product from TC.

Lekki8 brakes I purchased the L8 ultra directly from Ted. I used them for about 3 months but after not being able to get enough power out of them I contacted Ted for some advice. Although I had no intention on returning them, Ted offered to exchange them for the Lekki8. The Lekki8s are way more powerful, adjustable and superlight weight. I’m really happy now. More than anything, I appreciate Ted’s commitment to make his customers happy. I will definitely be back for more. Thanks

Waiting time - But amazing quality product There is a lot of turmoil and mixed reviews of past transactions about Ted and his brand, but I really wanted to get my hands in this new brakes. I had direct communication with him and i got a great deal on the very last model , I did my order , and yes, I DID had to wait several weeks until finally I get shipment confirmation ,so between some order delays , and some patience mixed , I have to say Ted always replied , when the brakes arrived I was more than amazed, amazing construction and weight , easy to install and to set! Ultra L8 such an amazing piece of art! i will update about the durability and performance in 6months time. Thanks Ciamillo !
