The bright orange The bright orange, foot operated sewer caps are ideal for our RV park hookups. They are quite durable and can handle just about any abuse short of being run over. By next season we will have bright yellow concrete piers in front of our sewer hookups. I am in Alaska. I just wish venders in the "contiguous" 48 states realized how easy and affordable it is to mail stuff to Alaska. Flat rate boxes are the same price to Alaska as to anywhere else in the USA.

Great sewer cap! Works on thinner DWV pipe with adapter collar/bushing These sewer caps are great! They are made to slip onto 4-inch schedule 40 PVC, which has a wider diameter than 4-inch DR35 drain/waste/vent pipe. If that's what you have, you'll need an adapter ring/collar. I got one for a few dollars from Lowes described as "Transition from Drain Waste Vent (DWV)/Schedule 40 (SCH40) fittings to Sewer and Drain (Sewer and Drain) pipe with the PVC Adapter Bushing," Item #24093 and Model #L2P42. I hope this helps the next person who needs to use one of these sewer caps on DWV pipe instead of schedule 40.
