GBA Creative and In-Depth Study of the Beatitudes In all fairness, I must disclose that I've been a huge fan of Stu G's work for a long time and so I bought both his album and documentary right after both were released. When he emailed out asking for reviews I jumped on the opportunity to tell others about the fine work Stu does. So, this is not an unbiased review. :) Nonetheless, I feel that all of the material associated with the Beatitudes Project is rich, thoughtful, and really well made. I am working my way through the weekly study material and find it very engaging. Approaching the Beatitudes from an artistic perspective gives these resources a unique perspective that I think many will find refreshing. Stu has really brought together a diverse group throughout the interviews that bring a full picture to the study, from scholars to artists to normal everyday folks. I have not tried this as a group study and so don't know entirely how well it works in that format but I hope to try to lead it in a group setting soon. Great work Stu!

GBThe album is beautiful and the podcast… The album is beautiful and the podcast series is super engaging and challenging - a space to be real and dig deep into the most radical teachings of Jesus.

GBBeatitudes Project The book Word From the Hill, the music, the Beatitudes movie, and the podcasts all intertwine to make an incredible experience. Because I work with people with disabilities, I was struck by the truth in some of the chapters which I had never felt like anyone else outside of my profession would understand. The Beatitudes Project hits at the core of loving, respecting, and supporting others as God does for us no matter in what place we all find ourselves.

CAPoignant, beautiful and provoking journey... The Beatitudes Project is a poignant, rich, raw and moving "interactive journey". At times the beautiful, raw words and music have provoked me to enter into prayer, helping my own lament and tears rise up to heaven. It is hard and hopeful... attesting to what many of us find as we get older - that joy and pain are intermingled and God is good and beautiful and with us in it all. The Beatitudes are made accessible and relevant through incredible art, music and conversation. Thank you so much for creating this accessible teaching.

GBThe course was good The course was good - though somewhat repetitive from other materials you've created. I'd also think about what you can do to make it more interactive - more lean forward vs. lean back?
