Great way to find support & give back I’ve had 2 great apprentices through Acadium and one not so great. The not so great match was my second one. It was obvious within a week it wasn’t going to work. Acadium stayed in touch to see how things were going and were quick to find a replacement. They also ensured that my 3 month period started again so I didn’t miss out on time. One downside is the auto renew. You need to make sure you cancel it well in advance, which is fine as your existing apprenticeship continues until ot ends anyway.

Acadium matched me up with a great… Acadium matched me up with a great mentor. I admit, I was lucky to have hit it with Tammy (GoToYellow) right away when we first met. Tammy listened to my needs, and gave me the tools and access to help develop my skills while helping her business. Overtime, we became close and I often look forward to our chats. We both have busy schedules so it was hard to meet at times, but we made it work. My apprenticeship actually extended beyond the 3 month contract and I still work with her today because she is so lovely and we are accommodating to each other's needs and schedule. The perfect platform for those who need their first chance Acadium provided a platform through which I connected with the perfect mentor relative to my personality and desires for an internship. I have the vision of becoming a social media manager and Acadium connected me with a company in which I could take the skills and knowledge that I have acquired and use them in a practical context.
