Acadium matched me up with a great… Acadium matched me up with a great mentor. I admit, I was lucky to have hit it with Tammy (GoToYellow) right away when we first met. Tammy listened to my needs, and gave me the tools and access to help develop my skills while helping her business. Overtime, we became close and I often look forward to our chats. We both have busy schedules so it was hard to meet at times, but we made it work. My apprenticeship actually extended beyond the 3 month contract and I still work with her today because she is so lovely and we are accommodating to each other's needs and schedule. Wonderful experience! From the initial call, to going through the selection process to bring on an intern, to how amazing the Intern was – everything has been wonderful The only negative I can tell you, is, we had the best intern in the universe… And can only hope the next Intern is just as good!! The Acadiam program, is simple to navigate, they are very thorough in ensuring that you have all of the tools you need to bring on an intern that can assist your business. They follow up with you on a regular basis, and have weekly reviews that you and your intern provide.

Thank you, Acadium! Acadium is truly looking out for their trainees. They keep checking in with you to make sure everything is going as it should. Apart from the mentor you work with during your traineeship, you get a personal advisor. This way, you don't feel like you are on your own should anything go wrong. You get the feeling that you are a part of a team. An amazing team, that is. They vet the trainees, as well as the mentors, making sure that people who join have a genuine motivation to be a part of it. As of the mentors and traineeships, I can only say great things. I had one traineeship so far and it was an incredibly enriching experience. What everyone says in the reviews is true: you get out of the traineeship what you put into it. If you are motivated and willing to put in time and effort, you will have an extremely rewarding experience. If you wonder whether you should or shouldn't join Acadium, I can warmly recommend that you do. For me, it was a true revelation in 2023 and the best decision I made was to join. Predatory business practices We have been a non-stop subscriber since the company was called GenM many years ago. We had a couple of successful internships along with several more that were definitely more hassle than they were worth. The only predictable aspect was Acadium’s increasingly predatory business practices. Nowadays they will lock you in, steal credits you have already paid for if you cancel sub, and will change pricing structures at their whim. The final straw for us was a price increase from $147 to $499/quarter which we were not aware of and did not consent to. Within days of being charged we reached out to support and requested a refund (we had not used the service in over two years). The answer was a dismissive ‘no chance’ using a few more words. Avoid this company - they do not respect you and will screw you over sooner or later.
