Due to covid, I lost my job as a cook at Karl Strauss and my unemployment expired so I'm trying to find stable work whether temp agencies or getting that hustle on... You wouldn't know how real the struggle is being a 32 year old man trying to get by and still put time aside to do this, eventually get good enough to make this a career. Cybrary.it is a scam Cybrary.it is a scam. They stole money from my account in the name of auto-renew without any prior notification or without asking me. Their content is very poor in quality and of no use in professional world. Upon requesting a refund, their customer support did not entertain at all and just copied pasted some pre-made answers. We do have a grace period of at least 14 days prior to autorenew in Germany and companies must send an official notice before renewing a membership. A suggestion for everyone to start learn for free from youtube or paid from any other platform instead of this scam.

Website and content is NOT good! Terrible user experience - I would give this less stars if possible. It's clear that the product team does not listen to user feedback or care about the experience the students engage in. I can't find anything when I log into my account. its a completely overwhelming hodgepodge of random courses, labs, some in packages some not. so many unnecessary duplicates everywhere. I'm not sure where to begin with how bad the website is - please fix it! Also, the content was just a bunch of videos. I joined up with Udemy and found better courses for 1/5 of the price. Not worth time or money.

Great resource Cybrary offers great courses and member support. The career tracks are more thorough than learning on the job! I do wish course transcripts and subtitles were available. The publication dates for the courses should also be publicly visible, because this is IT - some courses contain outdated information, which is understandable but should be made known. It would also be helpful for course reviews to include public comments. Knowing why a course is rated low is helpful. Ultimately, I highly recommend Cybrary. And Cybrary subscription discount codes. XD

Experience with Net+ and Fundamentals of IT This is from experience with the very basic courses and the Net+. The Net+ has undergone a dramatic change from different instructors and course completion time (something like 30+ hours to only 8). I'm not sure how 8 hours covers an entire exam, especially with the new course leaving you read the same slides for what feels like 3-5 min each. The new audio is dubbed by someone who isn't the instructor and has quite a few audio distractions in the background. While the previous course instructor was slightly new to teaching and still used a whiteboard, he at least had more content. I don't think I will use Cybrary for additional certs, seeing how good the free options are.
