After 13 years of tutorial hell, Pickup music is helping me become a better player than I ever thought I'd be. I started teaching myself guitar when I was 11 and struggled using Youtube tutorials and song tabs to stumble my way through. I'm 24 now, and I am falling in love with guitar again with a whole new level of understanding and ability by following along the well researched course on pickup music. The value they provide FAR EXCEEDS the price of a subscription, would recommend to anyone.

If you have stalled, give this a try! I learned to play guitar 20+ yrs ago, but never kept with it since I only took lessons for about a year. I came across Pickup Music from an Instagram ad and that shouldn't steer you away. The lessons are easy bite-size chunks that won't wear you down or bore you. They keep it fast paced which helps me get formal practice in before I play songs of my own choosing.

Why you must join the Pickupmusic community! Pickupmusic is a fantastic online guitar learning community, it is very intuitive, very easy to navigate and packed with an amazing amount of lessons in all genres. The Pickup team really makes an effort to give guitarists the most effective way to learn. I have tried numerous online courses and this clearly and without a doubt beats them all in my opinion. Try your 2 first weeks and I'll bet you will stay. Highly recommend!

Pickup music is a great place to learn… Pickup music is a great place to learn guitar - not only technical aspects, but also important components like feel, rhythm and style basics - along with music theory, but only if you don't mind it - nobody will ask you to learn all scales and modes and stuff. Highly recommended!

Love Pickup Music I've finished the first two levels of Pickup Music's CAGED module, and I feel like I'm finally starting to understand how scales fit together on the guitar neck. I thrilled with Pick Up Music, and I can't wait to continue taking my guitar skills to the next level with new lessons! Thank you to the Pickup Music team for creating such a great and affordable learning experience. You guys are the best! :)
