After 13 years of tutorial hell, Pickup music is helping me become a better player than I ever thought I'd be. I started teaching myself guitar when I was 11 and struggled using Youtube tutorials and song tabs to stumble my way through. I'm 24 now, and I am falling in love with guitar again with a whole new level of understanding and ability by following along the well researched course on pickup music. The value they provide FAR EXCEEDS the price of a subscription, would recommend to anyone.

Really good step-wise approach to CAGED I really like this interactive and step-wise/day-to-day approach to a system that seemed daunting at first. I've been trying to get all these things like the major scale, the pentatonics and triads into my head over the last couple years and now I finally understand how it relates to each other and it all makes much more sense! Knowing I improved a lot in such a short time gives me a really good feeling :) I really enjoy jamming along to the backing tracks as well!

Great learning experience So far I've completed the beginner pathway and am past the halfway point of the late beginner one and this is the most fun and the most progress I've made with any online course. It's engaging and not overwhelming at all and the lessons seem to build on each other wich helps to cement the things you're learning.

Great for rock players! Well as a rock/metal player I think the country learning pathway its great because you add more twang to your sound! It covers a lot of useful stuff like major/minor pentatonics, bends, hybrid picking, double stops, etc. I highly recommend this pathway!
