Great training! Captain Turning made this information accessible and understandable and drove home the point that it is absolutely critical. Great examples and videos of real-life situations. All first responders need this information, especially because it is not just lumped in with training on mental health issues and drug use. Autism is common and unique and deserves its own category. This is what Captain Turning has done. Bravo!

Baker County Florida Capt. Turning's presentation is spot-on for First Responders. He gives a great working definition of what Autism is and how it affects people. He also gives great instructions/recommendations for first responders. Having been involved in searching for missing persons with autism, I'm glad I took the class. I feel much more confident in my future encounters with people with autism.

Receiving education on the "why's" of the actions, the motions, sounds, just everything was positively fascinating and has given me an understanding I wish everyone could have. I thought I knew a good bit, enough about autism... I knew nothing but I left the training with such a positive, understanding and craving to know and understand more. The facts provided, the reasoning and explanation of "why", the education combined with the personal stories and examples made the information relatable and personal. I could have listened and learned ALL day. Very engaging! I'm thankful I was able to participate in the training and would definitely recommend that any and everyone who has the possibility to attend do so! Thank you so much!

This Training was Phenomenal ! This Training was Phenomenal !! Gerald delivered the training with such passion due to his years in law enforcement as well as having a beautiful son that has Autism. I would recommend this training to ANY agency !!
