The perfect foundation for the world of photography The course offers an excellent in-depth view of every aspect of photography. It teaches skills and knowledge which I previously hadn't even thought of being important for becoming a great photographer. If there are any obscurities it is very easy to get in touch with your tutor or student support (I never have to wait longer than a day). I don't know yet where my photography journey will take me, however, am sure that everything learned during this course will set me up for it - be it for professional or private purposes. I highly recommend this course!

I took this course a few years ago I took this course a few years ago. I was always interested in photography but was never really able to find courses that I could use at home, at work etc. The Institute provided what I needed. It provided the foundation of photography, the technical aspects of photography. It provides you with the core knowledge to start your hobby or potential career. This course teaches you the basic fundamentals, provides you with some history and how to approach specific situations. To advance your skill you still need to go out and shoot everyday, study and keep learning. But the skills and knowledge you get from this course will help you further your studying and art.

Helpful For readers, the modules are a good read. However, if you are green like me (and I’m not sure how it will incorporate it, but some hands on/practical sessions similar to apprenticeship would really be helpful. I know there is an existing FB group, but mentorship is not there. It is more like showcasing your work for other people to crush your dream lol. Anyway, the modules are good for reading, but still lacks something. There are webinars all over the place that offer more practical insights. There should be a part of the module where mentorship/apprentice is available-so that’s a suggestion for you Photography Institute.

Good course, ideal for beginner photographers! Good course, I like the self-pace, the modules are technical but still easy to read and full of good tips, the assignments great for practicing the skills. The course is ideal for beginner photographers. I am learning a lot but I still miss the practical part of taking a photo and having the tutor closed to me during the shoot. Feedbacks to assignments are fast and timely, good general feedbacks and tips, but so far I miss a bit more personal feedback on how to improve.
