I’ve learned and grown a lot! I have been really happy with how much this course has helped me learn and grow in both understanding and hands on being able to accomplish projects. The only thing I struggled with is not being able to see how many assignments come with each module until they are unlocked.

George, my tutor has been wonderful, he evaluates my exercises very quickly and always corrects constructively, also with each evaluation he has given me more tips and very useful information. I am very happy with this course.

Great program My experience at the Photography Institute has been great! I have learned so much that I wouldn’t of ever learned on my own. The mentors and the administration office responds quickly to any questions you might have. It’s definitely different by not being able to have your instructor watch you take the photos to help guide you but your mentor can be reached if you are needing any guidance. The self paced schedule works great with my busy mom life. I like how I don’t have to log in at certain times for classes, I can do it at my own time. I would recommend this program to everyone.

Helpful For readers, the modules are a good read. However, if you are green like me (and I’m not sure how it will incorporate it, but some hands on/practical sessions similar to apprenticeship would really be helpful. I know there is an existing FB group, but mentorship is not there. It is more like showcasing your work for other people to crush your dream lol. Anyway, the modules are good for reading, but still lacks something. There are webinars all over the place that offer more practical insights. There should be a part of the module where mentorship/apprentice is available-so that’s a suggestion for you Photography Institute.

So much invaluable knowledge gained through PI! Taking the course through The Photography Institute was an amazing experience. I learned so much and put everything into hands on practice after each lesson. I loved the fact I had a tutor that was a working professional! I also found the Facebook group for students only to be an absolute game changer! It was such a great experience to feel like you always had tutor support as well as feedback and help from your peers who were studying with you and those who had already graduated the course. The course itself really pushed me out of my comfort zone, gave me so much new and helpful information, and really helped me improve as a photographer. Thanks so much, PI!
