Tova helped me identify patterns and figure out methods for each question type. She’s a very easygoing teacher and gives you specific direction on what to do at home between lessons, so you’re always working constructively and know how to use your time. She was also very good at making me less nervous, and adjusting her requirements when there was something special I needed. We had a great connection, and I would definitely work with her again.

Patient & Kind SAT Tutor I used Tova Krakauer Coaching to help me prepare for my SAT. We hadn’t been in school for a year because of Covid, so I was feeling really lost with the test preparation and felt like I really needed help. Tova is patient and kind, goes through each topic one step at a time and explains the ideas along the way, in a way I can understand. During the week between lessons, she would check in on me to see how I was doing with the assignments she gave me, and to ask if I needed help or direction. We worked mostly on the math section, but also a little bit on the reading section and on the writing grammar section. She was very supportive in a time when I needed it.

The Best teacher Tova’s a professional, patient teacher who always tries to “get” you and your learning style. She teaches in a really methodical way which goes with you step by step and builds a solid foundation, so that you don’t get confused or overwhelmed. It’s obvious that she has a crazy amount of experience, and she seems to really care. Really wonderful teacher.

I had been working on test prep for a very long time and didn’t feel like I was improving, which was very frustrating. Tova gave me great tips and help, supported me and guided me through the process, and was always very encouraging. She has considerable patience and a very relaxed presence, which helped calm me when I was getting stressed. My scores on the reading comprehension section and the writing and language section improved significantly, and I was accepted into the school I wanted. I was very excited and happy.
