USMy GoldenLSAT Experience: 141->156 When I started studying for the LSAT, I was overwhelmed by the amount of prep options out there. I also knew that with my LSAT diagnostic score of 141, I had a long way to go. Thankfully, I found Mitchell through some of his AMAs on Reddit. Before working with Mitchell, my studying was all over the place. I truly felt lost and hopeless. However, Mitchell tailored our sessions and his coaching to individually fit my learning style. Mitchell is intuitive and truly interested in your success. As someone who struggles with anxiety, especially when it comes to standardized tests, I always felt comfortable with Mitchell and in asking him questions. His text check-ins helped me stay accountable and provided an open dialogue for feedback. By working with Mitchell for a little over 4 months, I was able to climb 15 points from my diagnostic, scoring a 156 on the August 2022 LSAT. Plus, he made learning LG fun. Fun is never something I thought I would associate with the LSAT, but that’s my GoldenLSAT experience.

USAmazing Tutor! Working with Mitchell was the key to getting out of my bad LSAT habits and attacking the test in a whole new way. Before working with him, I scored a 171 and struggled with maintaining consistently good scores on RC and LR. I had essentially hit a plateau. After just a few weeks (May until the June test) we trained on habits that improved my speed, which lended to better, more consistent scores. These were ways of attacking the test I had never heard about from commercially available prep books. His confidence in me and my abilities went a long way to making me feel like I could succeed. I ended up scoring a 174 on the June test thanks to his help!

CAAn Invaluable Part of my LSAT Prep When I found Mitchell’s tutoring page online, it was after months of self-study, and only three weeks before my scheduled LSAT. I started with a 160 diagnostic, and was aiming for at least a 164 on the test. I was extremely stressed about hitting that mark, and my scores were inconsistent - especially in Logic Games. I only scheduled three sessions with Mitchell, two hours a week, but the strategies he taught me were invaluable. I learned new ways of approaching the question types, which really helped with “strengthen/weaken” Logical Reasoning questions and Logic Games. The Logic Games strategies I learned brought me from -7/8 on Games to a consistent -0. As well, Mitchell taught me how to approach the test as a whole - how to study the week before, what to do the day before, how to prep for technical difficulties, and so on. Mitchell was kind and helpful - although I made mistakes frequently in our sessions, he was understanding and happy to review without being belittling or condescending. Ultimately, the strategies Mitchell helped me to learn allowed me to exceed not only my goal score, but also each of my practice scores, ending up with a 176 on the exam.

USHis last name says it all Before working with Mitch, I was unorganized and inconsistent in my LSAT approach. Through a course of a year and a half, Mitch helped me change my thought process and create a unified routine of work, study, and execution. Mitch’s unique process is indicative in the fact that my initial LSAT score went from a 138 to a 153. This jump of 15 points is a direct correlation from the teachings and self-practice that Mitch would assign, and teach me how to execute. Numbers aside, Mitch became a friendly face and I enjoyed meeting with him. Whether it be through sports, video games, or some other topic, I found him demonstrating LSAT techniques through references I was already familiar with to the point that I would hear his voice in my head while taking exams…in a good way. Through our combined effort and Mitch’s guidance, I have been accepted into Chapman University’s Fowler School of Law and am currently on the waitlist at UC Hastings School of Law. From personal experience, I believe Mitch to be an outstanding LSAT tutor, mentor, and friend and I would highly recommend him for the LSAT exam preparation and essay advice when applying to law school.

USThe Best Tutor Having Mitchell as my tutor has been an amazing experience. Take someone who started with a diagnostic score of 135 and ended up with a 160! I never thought that would be possible. I was in a rough place, I did not understand anything about the LSAT whatsoever, and self-studying just wasn't it for me. I needed someone to teach me everything I needed to know for this test, and that is exactly what Mitchell did. I worked with Mitchell for a year and because of him, the LSAT started to make sense to me. His strategies played a huge role in the constant improvement of my diagnostic scores throughout the duration of working with him. He is not only the best tutor out there, but he is extremely reliable and dedicated A LOT of his time to make sure I was progressing. If I had any questions, comments or confusions, I would text him and get a response right away! I highly recommend Mitchell to anyone taking the LSAT and looking to significantly improve their score!
