GBI am a parent who has an adult child… I am a parent who has an adult child with executive function disorder. He started coaching with BEYONDBOOKSMART last year. The initial intake of questions for matching the coach to the client is excellent. I see so many significant changes in my son which have been consistent. His organization and time management skills are getting better! My son loves the service and loves his coach and looks forward to each session. Thank you BEYONDBOOKSMART! I am grateful to your service!!

GBgrateful! I got matched up with a coach I feel is a good suit for me. I'm studying in the UK and the university system runs slightly differently from the US college system especially when it comes to the course I'm doing(dentistry; we don't do pre-med here and have different exam schedules). Sarah is wonderful and has imparted some really useful tips and tricks on me so far and I hope I'll be able to improve as I go forward :) It's also nice to check in with someone who's like a wellbeing tutor every week.

GBBeyond Booksmart was a life-saver for… Beyond Booksmart was a life-saver for my daughter during the first few years of high school. They matched her with a coach that was just perfect for her and helped organize herself, her schoolwork and her thoughts so she was able to tackle her challenges head-on. And early in her senior year, we brought BBS back on for a few months to help with the college application deadlines and they made it so simple for us to jump back in and then cancel when the services were no longer needed. I can't recommend them enough.

GBGreat Intake It was a very informative intake session. Lauren introduced us to the program and answered all our questions. She spoke to Bennett individually for 15 minutes and he is really on board and ready to get started. Looking forward to learning ways to help Bennett be more successful at home, at school, and in his extracurricular activities.

GBHit or Miss The effectiveness depends on who the coach is, rather than the BBS system per se. BBS does have a pre-match process, but it is not possible for prospective clients to get a good feel for the competence of the coach. We got a coach for my son the summer before going to college and he had the same coach through the first half of the Fall Semester - there was no discernible improvement and the session reports by the coach were generic (even though our son had signed for us to have access to it), making it difficult to figure out what's not working. I will give this coach a ZERO STAR. Then he got a new coach (this time we knew how to evaluate better), and within a few sessions, the difference was like night & day. In addition, the change continues to improve. This 2nd coach deserves FIVE STARS.
