The facilitator was brilliant The facilitator was brilliant. Very knowledgeable, patient and kept excellent time. The content was so rich, however, that it probably needed more time than the allotted two days to do it justice. And some of that time might be spent working through some of the concepts in workshop mode. But make no mistake, I'd certainly recommend this program!

Recertification Process is a Joke Don't expect to have an easy time trying to figure out how many credits you have towards recertifcation. They require a certain amount of credits, but there is not an easy way to determine how many you have. You need to count them invidually. Then to make matters worse, their recertification process requires you to upload a copy of your HCI transcript, but that cannot be downloaded. I guess they want you to screenshot it. I am incredibly disappointed, but have to play their games because I need recertification.

Great speaker; bad tech issues Great speaker, but very bad technical issues. The speaker's laptop had some weird intermittent technical issues throughout the two day course. Sometimes we heard him plainly, while other times his voice cut out or sounded garbled like he was talking underwater. THe speaker is very knowledgeable and provided good insights and examples. It was just a shame to have tech delays and interruptions. For a pricey course, I expected top notch from HCI. I contacted my HCI account liaison, and he was helpful during the process.

Strategic Workforce Planning Review Just completed the Strategic Workforce Planning Certification Class. I felt the class was good overall, and provided a lot of great information. However, I felt the material would have been better spread out over another day or so. I think it was a little rushed, and there was some sections that were more detailed and required more attention than others. I also think we could have used more samples to work with, vs. always using our own organization's information. I think it would have provided a better foundation for our learning and provided clear examples, vs. us having to try and figure a lot of things out, when this is our first time going through the material.

Engaging content and facilitation Had an amazing training with Karen this week on succession training. She is exteremely knowledgable and built in some levity and humor that helped to break up the content. She was also very mindful of breaks needed to reflect and reatin the information. She provided a ton of exmaples which allowed the content really come to life. She went the extra mile to use words and phrases that are a major part of pur company which not only made us feel understood but also cared for. I highly recommend Karen for succession training. After leaving this session I feel that I have a very solid understanding of how to apply the content in a meaningful way.
