A great platform for learning a language If you are interested in learning a new language with a native speaker, Verbal Planet is a great choice. I find the platform easy to use, for vetting and selecting a language teacher, scheduling sessions and managing payments. Working with a native speaker is much more productive than using apps. The average cost for instruction is very reasonable.

Why keep paying this predatory system Why keep paying this predatory system? It's a rip off. Once you're introduced to your teacher ditch them and pay your tutor directly. VP takes a huge cut for nothing more than introducing you to each other.

I learned about Verbal Planet through two of my friends, one French and one American. I learned about Verbal Planet through two of my friends who wanted to learn Arabic. An excellent teacher and an excellent service My instructor on Verbal planet has helped me immensely. I have been studying Italian for years but have made more progress in the last year with my tutor than ever before. She encourages and challenges me. My progress with Italian has inspired me to start learning French which I am comprehending easily because of my Italian studies. I'm also a fan of Verbal Planet because they don't price gouge. I previously worked with another service who charged too much and kept most of the fees for themselves with less than half going to the actual tutor.
