A great platform for learning a language If you are interested in learning a new language with a native speaker, Verbal Planet is a great choice. I find the platform easy to use, for vetting and selecting a language teacher, scheduling sessions and managing payments. Working with a native speaker is much more productive than using apps. The average cost for instruction is very reasonable.

I am lucky enough to have found 4 excellent teachers who have helped me develop my abilities even (and especially) when I was totally lost and needed encouragement. They don’t approve your profile just because they don’t want more teachers. It’s been 4 days since I’m trying to approve my teacher profile and they keep reject me. They NEVER answered me once telling me why. I’ve added a new profile pic, my experiences, my education, Skype account..still nothing. They just don’t want more teachers and they don’t tell you.
