Love their Chinese and Spanish tutoring services. Verbal Planet is a great service for language tutoring. I use Verbal Planet for two different languages. I love all the highly qualified tutors to choose from. I have found the tutors to be top notch, reliable and hard working. Pricing for tutors is reasonable and making payments is easy. I really enjoy Verbal Planet and highly recommend them.

Fantastic teacher! I can't recommend Verbalplanet -- and my teacher specifically -- highly enough. Language is meant to be spoken and you can only learn so much from a book, language apps, etc. Live instruction is the only way to prepare for the give and take of actual conversations -- especially if you plan to use your new language when you travel! Verbalplanet provides a user-friendly platform, and you book your lessons in your own time zone, so there's no confusion about when your lesson will be. Reasonable prices, too! No refundable trials I like the fact that you can see the description and background of each tutor, so you can find one that might suit you. Also, it's very convenient to see all available timeslots of tutors and if you are shy to say goodbye you can just stop scheduling classes :) What upset me is the refund policy, each student has only 1 trial and in case for any reason the trial didn't happen, they will not return it to you. Like, in my case, the teacher didn't show up for a lesson, but I wasn't able to use trials anymore to schedule a lesson with some other teachers :/
