Love their Chinese and Spanish tutoring services. Verbal Planet is a great service for language tutoring. I use Verbal Planet for two different languages. I love all the highly qualified tutors to choose from. I have found the tutors to be top notch, reliable and hard working. Pricing for tutors is reasonable and making payments is easy. I really enjoy Verbal Planet and highly recommend them.

An excellent teacher and an excellent service My instructor on Verbal planet has helped me immensely. I have been studying Italian for years but have made more progress in the last year with my tutor than ever before. She encourages and challenges me. My progress with Italian has inspired me to start learning French which I am comprehending easily because of my Italian studies. I'm also a fan of Verbal Planet because they don't price gouge. I previously worked with another service who charged too much and kept most of the fees for themselves with less than half going to the actual tutor.

Fantastic teacher! I can't recommend Verbalplanet -- and my teacher specifically -- highly enough. Language is meant to be spoken and you can only learn so much from a book, language apps, etc. Live instruction is the only way to prepare for the give and take of actual conversations -- especially if you plan to use your new language when you travel! Verbalplanet provides a user-friendly platform, and you book your lessons in your own time zone, so there's no confusion about when your lesson will be. Reasonable prices, too! They don’t approve your profile just because they don’t want more teachers. It’s been 4 days since I’m trying to approve my teacher profile and they keep reject me. They NEVER answered me once telling me why. I’ve added a new profile pic, my experiences, my education, Skype account..still nothing. They just don’t want more teachers and they don’t tell you.
