Laura's course explains German--the reasons, the rules, the process. Her charts are excellent resources that offer a way to visualize the language and make connections and internalize the rules. Exceptionally smart approach Exceptionally smart approach, Laura's creative hierarchical charts: Gender Hierarchy, Plural Pathways, All-in-One Declensions etc, make logical sense of German grammar, which is an incredible breakthrough for me... no more guess work! A different approach to the German language… A different approach to the difficulties of German with organization that I have not seen elsewhere including a chart of endings that help with figuring out noun gender. It does stress some memory but not the rote memory of learning the gender of each noun. I have just begun with her and am at page 5 of one of her books. 3 books are sold for $25 total and appear necessary to me to go with her course.

A step-change in learning German! I studied German in high school and have tried picking it up on and off again over the last twenty years without much success - until now. For the first time, I have started to understand the rules behind the grammar, instead of just trying to memorise set combinations. I’ve loved this course and feel really like it’s been a step-change in my learning. I don‘t know why it isn‘t taught this way all the time!
