She breaks down the complex grammar in German into consumable parts, and I immediately started improving my German. Essential to learning the German language Two years into German on Duolingo, I've learned a lot but am constantly aware of the need to understand German grammar. You can get through Duolingo without understanding the rules of a language but you will be severely limited in your ability to understand and speak the language. German with Laura provides that missing, vital element in a clear, logical, easy to follow manner. I'm a bit more than 25% o the way through her German Foundations 1 course and it is proving to be well worth the price.
