The course has been helpful… Four stars because I have not yet finished the course. I would say it is a helpful course and better than trying to hobble together the information from different sources. Very good helping with basic gramme as unlike Europeans the UK education system (or the bit that taught me) ignored grammar. Try the free courses Laura does and if you like her style - I did - go for it. But remember there is no magic bullet

Laura's methods are much more logical… Laura's methods are much more logical and useful than other courses I've taken so far in both the US and Germany. She breaks down the complex grammar in German into consumable parts, and I immediately started improving my German. As an Expat in Germany, I can highly recommend for anyone who is seeking a real grammar refresh.

Laura’s teaching techniques are first class I have struggled with German grammar for a while and Laura explains complicated principles in way that makes sense. Finally some help and things that made sense!! Hello, I moved to German about a year ago. I have been doing Duolingo for a number of years and also have been in a full time intensive German course (5 days a week, 4 hours a day) to get to B1. I have been so frustrated with my progress and trying to understand how things fit together. There didn't seems to be any systems or strategies that I could find to help. I felt is was "you just need to learn through memory and repetition. I was very disheartened. Then I came across Laura's free introduction models. I did them I finally felt I had someone to help! That could break it down into bite size learning, that could give me some tools and structure to help. I can't recommend Laura's course more highly. I am half way through the Foundations course and am looking forward the next course. Thank you Laura.

Laura's course explains German--the reasons, the rules, the process. Her charts are excellent resources that offer a way to visualize the language and make connections and internalize the rules. I am completely satisfied with the course.
