With my tutor, Valeria, we tailored each lesson to a grammar concept I had forgotten, or wanted more clarity on. My 9 year old son has been using OCTB… My 9 year old son has been using OCTB for Spanish classes for a month now and we are beyond happy with the results. Before we found OCTB, he had been studying daily with another well-known online language system for over a year. He has made more progress in the past month than he did in the last year with the other program. The one-on-one tutoring system gives him the individual attention that he needs. Student talk time (The most important part of language learning) increases with each lesson and he is becoming more comfortable speaking each day. Errors are corrected immediately and correct grammar is solidified through homework. Most importantly, he feels truly cared for by his tutors, so he wants to learn with them. We are SO pleased with our daughter's… We are SO pleased with our daughter's Spanish lessons. Although she is a native speaker, she has gotten into the bad habit of wanting to speak only in English at home. She started to replace Spanish words with English words when she couldn't think of the word in Spanish fast enough. Patty has been so patient and kind with Aubrey. We have definitely noticed an improvement in her vocabulary and her diction. We cannot recommend OCTB enough. You will not be disappointed, just give them a try.
