My 9 year old son has been using OCTB… My 9 year old son has been using OCTB for Spanish classes for a month now and we are beyond happy with the results. Before we found OCTB, he had been studying daily with another well-known online language system for over a year. He has made more progress in the past month than he did in the last year with the other program. The one-on-one tutoring system gives him the individual attention that he needs. Student talk time (The most important part of language learning) increases with each lesson and he is becoming more comfortable speaking each day. Individual attention at affordable price I started Spanish beginners classes last year for my kid. The teacher we got is excellent with kids. She taught so well and eased our concerns when we said we need more help as we don't know any Spanish. She used to teach in way that was both entertaining and useful that my kid started even talking small sentences. I see very good progress in her Spanish vocabulary. I liked ease of scheduling classes at our convenience and individual attention for the kid. The only reason I took out 1 star is the new teacher took almost 8 classes to figure out at what level is my kid's Spanish. I would've liked more if there is some way that when we change to new teacher, they can see where the kid's level is.

With my tutor, Valeria, we tailored each lesson to a grammar concept I had forgotten, or wanted more clarity on.
