I want to first thank God for leading me to this company to learn Yorùbá, because in my heart I believe l am an American descendant of the Yorùbá people. I happen to stumble upon Ayekoo Afrique searching online for a teacher and was immediately impressed with the professional yet easy navigation of the site. Scheduling classes are quick and easy, answers to any questions or concerns are received in a timely manner, and everyone here is supportive. Having Ore as a teacher has made the process that much more fulfilling as he is very observant of his student's individual strengths and weaknesses and gives assignments that promote deeper understanding. Great course! Great course! Started with a group lesson and enjoyed the interaction and the pocket format for beginners in the study of Yoruba. Trial lecture was also helpful to test one-on-one format. Started with a 6-pack course due to scheduling concerns, but will definitely complete the beginner journey. Lessons can be tailored to your interests and learning speed, material is clear, easy to read, and available later for review, tutor has a flexible schedule and keeps a closed loop communication, and platform is convenient for any arrangements you may need to make. I am particularly inclined to learn about how language helps shaping culture and am enjoying the uniqueness of everything Yoruba-related. Hoping to visit Nigeria soon and practice what I'm learning! Loved it! I enjoyed learning the beginning phrases in the Yoruba language. I immediately called my parents to greet them in our ancestral language! I would 100% recommend to all folx in the diaspora!
