GBI had one on one private lessons I had one on one private lessons. They were ok. I asked for more on demand conversation/ spontaneous conversation but I read 80% of the time. It wasn't very flexible or easy to make or change appointments. It took me two weeks to get started after I had paid. Also the instructor occasionally took a brief pause during our session to answer the phone or assist the other people in his home. So a bit disruptive. Things I did like- talking to a native speaker and improving my accent and speech!

GBRegret the Purchase Honestly, I hate the program. I paid too much for what I am getting. It is very business-centric. It does not do a great job of teaching or reinforcing learning. There is a short intro, but again, very business-centric (not generally applicable for other purposes) I would NOT RECOMMEND.

CNfor many times I can't connect to your… for many times I can't connect to your website, wasting time on internet connection issue. not a user friendly platform for joining the class. also I could only join the room within 5 minute before class, I can't check my network before that. despite of these the teachers are good, I appreciate their hard works. I'd like to study higher level of the English class but the internet connection makes me a second thought.

GBPotential Teachers are Being Trained Poorly The hiring team is nice, but then the teacher training is awful. Long, rigid, authoritarian, unpaid and packed with tests and also many demo lessons online in front of trainers and other students where they keep telling you over and over that you may fail and have to redo some other day if you deviate from the exact way they want you to teach.

GBBarely this school needs any additional… Barely this school needs any additional recommendation. It's just one of the best language centers. As a language geek I've been using their interactive courses and books since young age, and I recommend their online/offline classes to everybody who is learning a foreign language, either as a fun hobby or for job. I've studied German, Chinese, and considering to dive into French someday.
