Scheisse The online course is very boring. It’s basically listen, speak, repeat. Not much imaginative learning techniques used in this course. The online tutorial sessions are crap. No one bothers to explain anything. Save your money don’t use this course.

I had the opportunity to meet Berlitz through Google, my daughter lives in Italy and I was looking for classes for her this summer, the first contact was super fast and satisfactory through Miss Yessenia, always very attentive and cordial! The location of the school incredibly great, in Virginia, Mrs. Hebert very kind, the great teacher! I am very happy to see my daughter's progress with her English! I am so pleased that she will now continue with her online classes once she returns to Italy! I 100% recommend her teaching services! Thank you Berlitz for her help and all her attention! This teaching system is outdated and… This teaching system is outdated and difficult to follow. The book has multiple errors. Lesson in Dative... Book materials in Akkus. Or vice versa. Spelling / Sie / Sie / sie issues... multiple errors noted. The teaching style doesn't meet the errors of different types of learners There is no ability to self guide / re-read the book since it isn't set up as a text-book. "Just Listen and repeat and osmosis learning" isn't how all adults learn. No english and no explanations... which means for learners who process and what to re-engage the materials it is impossible Instructors handbook is different than mine which means we aren't on the same page and get easily confused.

German online class - LIES German omline class, for which I paid $1800 and signed a contract for a start date 7 Feb 2023, got postponed by 4 weeks; notice was then given that today, 14 March, is the offical start date and that my course starts at 8pm. In the student portal, the instructor was changed last minute (three hours before course start), and now the assigned instructor has not shown up and we are 18 minutes into a 60-min session. Scam and waste of money! I am in the US (Virginia), not in Hungary, as listed. Also, NL is a racist.

Russian Language 100hrs I completed a 100-hour Russian language course with an "in-person" tutor which took place over Skype. Due to my busy schedule, I was only able to conduct lessons Tues-Wed for two hours at a time. The individual lessons were effective, and they included speaking, reading, and listening. There were very few instances in which English was spoken. The lessons were not only catered towards the DLPT because that was not the overall goal. The overall goal was to improve my speaking ability and vocabulary into new topics, and that goal was met. I highly recommend Berlitz.
