GBI think Berlitz flex program is a great… I think Berlitz flex program is a great course to take. I've been taking German for 5 months and haven't had one bad instructor, Maybe I'm lucky but it's about taking your self tought courses and applying it to speaking live. If you're looking for a flashy and fun interface this isn't it but apply yourself and you will improve here. This program DOES have the material needed. It takes discipline and repotition outside of your online courses as well.

GBTruly a bad experience with Berlitz… Truly a bad experience with Berlitz Flex. Video courses are repetitive and terminally slow, with not enough focus on grammar or actual conversation. The amount of time they give for you to cancel is not sufficient as a new learner- only a few days. By the time you realize how utterly useless and glitchy the program is, they have you locked into a contract that they will not release you from. Avoid at all costs.

GBRegret the Purchase Honestly, I hate the program. I paid too much for what I am getting. It is very business-centric. It does not do a great job of teaching or reinforcing learning. There is a short intro, but again, very business-centric (not generally applicable for other purposes) I would NOT RECOMMEND.

HUGerman online class - LIES German omline class, for which I paid $1800 and signed a contract for a start date 7 Feb 2023, got postponed by 4 weeks; notice was then given that today, 14 March, is the offical start date and that my course starts at 8pm. In the student portal, the instructor was changed last minute (three hours before course start), and now the assigned instructor has not shown up and we are 18 minutes into a 60-min session. Scam and waste of money! I am in the US (Virginia), not in Hungary, as listed. Also, NL is a racist.

GBRussian Language 100hrs I completed a 100-hour Russian language course with an "in-person" tutor which took place over Skype. Due to my busy schedule, I was only able to conduct lessons Tues-Wed for two hours at a time. The individual lessons were effective, and they included speaking, reading, and listening. There were very few instances in which English was spoken. The lessons were not only catered towards the DLPT because that was not the overall goal. The overall goal was to improve my speaking ability and vocabulary into new topics, and that goal was met. I highly recommend Berlitz.
