A little disappointed I made a point to call customer service to clarify something in the catalog before I placed my order. I was very happy with the information that was given to me by the customer service rep. When I went to place my order I was given different information, I let them know that I called customer service and they said I was given wrong information. I then called customer service back and after checking she told me that she did give me wrong information. This was disappointing as I made a point to check first before I tried to place my order. I would like to think that if someone calls customer service for clarification on a catalog item they would be given correct information.

Great Service & Nice Product My ordering experience was very easy (over the phone). They were able to look up my order and imprinted wording from last year so that I could get exactly the same item as last year, but in different quantities. Shipping was very quick - my items arrived several days earlier than expected. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is that the medallions I received are not all smooth on the edges - some are, but some have semi-sharp parts where the circle must have been trimmed irregularly or the casting overflowed slightly. For the price of the product and the event for which I am going to use them I'm not really worried about it, but I wouldn't be as satisfied if I needed them to look perfect. Last year's turned out better, so this batch may have just been a fluke.

Punctual and accurate I ordered an engraved stick on plaque for the front of a small trophy. Everything was exactly as it should have been. It arrived promptly. No complaints there. The shipping was expensive for a tiny 3" plaque. As it turns out they boxed it and shipped it through as shipping company. Would have been more cost effective for me as the consumer to have put it in an envelope with a stamp on it and sent it through the US Mail. It would have been better for the environment because less packing materials. I was surprised that.

Prices and service As a small business owner that works with children with learning disabilities, I find that your prices on rewards to be expensive. The cost of pins are ridiculous when you look at what they are actually made of and that they are mass produced. I believe you should not be required to purchase 100 to reduce your cost. Your shipping cost are high too. You never offer any sales either. The last time I ordered, I got the wrong thing. I ordered neck ribbons that say reading and I got red ribbons instead. I did not want to pay to return them.

Won't use them again if I don't have to AFTER I placed our small order, I was informed that my organization isn't a "good enough customer" to be billed, and the person on the phone demanded a credit card. When I said I don't have a company credit card, she told me we could do the order COD or cancel it. As we needed the supplies in question, I said we'd do COD. This turned into a complete, farcical nightmare. We finally got delivery of the supplies, but it required my Department manager writing a personal check to Jones. When I called to request a receipt so my manager could be reimbursed, I was e-mailed another copy of the invoice. When I e-mailed back and re-emphasized I needed a RECEIPT, I received a snotty phone call condescendingly explaining that we could not get a receipt until the COD had been received from UPS, which would take "at least three more days". So, fine, I asked that I be sent a receipt as soon as the COD payment was processed. About four days later, I asked if the payment had been processed, and was INFORMED it had not, and I would have to wait. TEN days later, I asked again, and finally received the requested receipt, but ONLY because I requested it yet again. Had I not said anything, we would very likely still be waiting for the receipt. I have worked retail and I have worked telephone customer service, and I was always taught it doesn't matter how big or small customers' purchase is, you treat them well. Clearly, this is not the Jones philosophy, and if at all possible, I will see to it that we do not use Jones again, for anything.
