With example photos that are less than inspiring it is hard to take the material serious. There are much better photos in the gallery submitted by other members. There are some very good presentations on Youtube that will improve your skills.

Betterphoto is doing well the month's contest of photos, the all time personal statistics, POTD, the encouraging to the members for comments on the photographs and the layout of the site. But often I experience difficulties with loading and all the comments I receive are appeared as spam.
