GBAvoid this company I was charged £94.86 for a thing called domestika plus that they are sneaking into customers baskets when purchasing a course. I couldn’t contact anyone and the online instructions to get a refund were a nonsense! PayPal are refunding me thankfully. What a shame that what was a good company has turned so shady

ZAThe Disillusionment … It's deeply disappointing to see the use of dark UX patterns for basket placements in subscriptions. I once actively promoted this platform, but now I've ceased doing so. The realization of this practice is disheartening. I find myself wishing for a refund for all the courses I've purchased, so I never have to visit the site again. While some of the topics are genuinely interesting...

GBCharged me for a yearly subscription… Charged me for a yearly subscription without my consent. Company phone numbers are not in working order. I was able to contact the company (somehow) from the website and I received an email saying that I signed up for a trial (I did not) and that I could remove the subscription from my account page. There is no place to remove the subscription. I am not going to rest until this company is held accountable.

UAA dystopian company A dystopian company that will suffer reputational and legal losses from its actions. Yes, they charge you for an annual subscription, but the worst thing is not the fact of this, but the fact that they have no live people in technical support and are completely closed to any communication on social networks. They won't hear your request and will send you template emails dozens of times that won't help you. Also, the fact that you can't delete your payment data from their service is remarkable (their financial department deserves hell for such dark patterns) I don't need a boilerplate response under this review, better provide me with a live person who is able to hear me and conduct the refund process Domestika is a place with good courses, but now I will not recommend it even if all its courses become free for life. Its reputation has been destroyed by itself.

GBHave to agree - They like to entrap with "plus" year subscription fees Domestika has good content but their business practices are a bit slimy. If you buy any class make absolutely sure that you cancel out your credit card on their servers after purchase or they will use it to auto-bill for the year subscription with no real warning. And the only way to do that? Pick any course and click buy button Go through until last page before purchase In small text link under red purchase button, delete the credit card that has been saved on their servers Cancel the buy by deleting everything in basket Again, they are either ignorant of best practices, tricksters, or incompetent. None are good looks.
