Purchase of a Battery Pack for an old HP Pavilion Laptop I have a HP Pavilion laptop I bought in 2014. I was considering upgrading, but I decided instead to try to find somewhere that still sold a Li-ion Laptop Battery Pack for the old machine and possibly upgrade the Operating System so I'd need a largish Flash Drive to back up the original OS. I contacted HP suppliers in the UK to try to get the Battery Pack with no luck. However, one of them suggested battdepot.com. I put in Battery Pack for HP Pavilion 15-p189na in battdepot.com Search and it showed me Battery Packs with either a one or two year warranty. I ordered the one with a one-year warranty and also a SanDisk Cruzer Glide USB 3.0 Flash Drive 32GB. They both arrived sooner than promised before Christmas and I am writing this review on the same Laptop which now contains the BattDepot Battery Pack. My experience with this company has been first rate.

Excellent Battery and Fast Service The battery works really well. There is no problem with Lenovo software attempt to block non Lenovo batteries. Battery life is great. Delivery was fast, showing that product was held in stocks, not sourced after order.

WEB SITE WELL PRESENTED THE WEB SITE WAS WELL PRESENTED, CLEAR IN DETAIL. THE ITEM REQUIRED WAS QUICKLY FOUND AND COULD NOT BE LOCATED ANYWHERE ELSE. IT WAS WORTH PAYING A HIGHER PRICE TO GET THE ORIGINAL BATTERY.

Good service, but... Good service, quick delivery. But disappointingly, the new battery I bought had only 80% of its capacity left. I had to put it in my laptop anyway, but I'd have thought a new battery could do a bit better than 80%. I've cycled it several times now, and it's still reporting only 80% of its capacity.
